Question ? Present for siblings ?

I would like to buy a present that a 7 yo girl and 5 yo boy can share. So far I've been told: an easel or walkie talkies. I'm not trying to be cheap, but it can't cost more than $50.

Thank you!

Do you really want something they can share? With that much money you can get them each a nice gift.
My 9 year old dd suggested a Slip N Slide for them to share, but its not the season for it. LOL If you do buy an easel make sure its one that can be used at the same time on the front and back so neither child has to wait to use it. You can also buy them some games and puzzles that could be shared, or did you just want one big gift?

I would split the money and get two $25 gifts. Then they each get to open something, and they each have their own item to keep where they want it and play with.

If you choose to do the together gift I would do either board games or movies.

Is there a museum near by

My kids are those ages.. the only things I have purchased for them to share is that candy machine with a grabbing claw (not filled with candy though..) I wouldn't recommend this as it is very difficult.. but my kids keep asking for it and I couldn't resist.
I also have bunk beds for their My Twinn dolls (but most 5yr old boys aren't doll crazy like mine.)

Anyway, how about a museum membership, or a stack of GCs for minigolf, bowling, and movies, build a bear or a paint your own pottery place?
DVD of Cars
Board games: mancala, Blokus, Zingo, Scene It Disney, and Sorry are some of our favorites.

Also, depending on the boy (mine is very creative) a big box of art supplies. Pipe cleaners, tape, glue, contact paper, construction paper, pom poms, stickers etc. would be a big hit at my house. (They are getting this from a grandma)

for something bigger mine do play air hockey together

Are you far away? I think the best gift would be an IOU for dinner and activity with you when you see them next. They will get enough toys. :O)

HTH. Let us know how you make out.
