And it begins.....

DH just called.. his company is closing at noon today, he will be home by 12:30- and doesn't have to go back to work until January 2nd. "Isn't that GREAT??""

I love the man, I truly truly do, but after 10 1/2 days of him home and in my hair, I may go crazy. Wish me luck...

Were you expecting this?? LOL, DH used to work shift work and when I got used to not having him around in the evenings, it would be hard to adjust to him there. Luv him, just as you love your DH, but i sooo relate.

today my DH works half day and doesn't go back until after New Years as well. I am excited but we are also traveling after xmas so it won't be like he's "in my hair". He'll mostly be "on the computer playing games" LOL

It's the kids being home that's hard...

My DH's company always closes early before every holiday and I don't know that he's ever gotten to come home early.... I love it when he's home!

Me, too. My DH is a maintenance engineering mgr at American and he's ALWAYS on call. Example: we were supposed to have a special night last night (engagement anniversay - cheesy, I know, but I like to celebrate it) and he spent the whole evening on the phone. He got home at 6:00, on the phone until 7:00, then back on a conference call from 7:30-9:30. I cancelled our dinner reservation because I knew that he'd be on the phone trying to decide what to do about this one plane. I'm not even sure he'll be home this weekend at all! I'm bummed when it's like this.... But, I do understand that too much "togetherness" when you're not used to it can drive you crazy!

My DH had today off and allllllllllllllllllllll of next week and doesn't go back to work until the 2nd either. Im so excited . I am having great fun now watching him surf the web as I wrap presents, do dishes and laundry. This will be the first time he has been home like this and we haven't went somewhere. I love the man truely I do. But I swear if he thinks he is going to sit there and surf the web and watch football all week he is sadly mistaken. I have plenty of things for him to do but shhhhh its a suprise think ill save it all for after christmas. lol

I know I will love it. My bf gets bored when hes off from work, and especially since its a holiday I know he'll be trying to be extra sweet by washing dishes and vacuuming. And I just know he'll clean the bathroom too. Ahhh, sigh.I love my bf !

I am always thrilled to have my husband home, BUT we just got home his car was in the driveway. I was thinking he would be home around 3pm since he was going to help deliver Christmas gifts to a local elementary school. I was not happy that he was home and then I found out that the reason he is here is that he is SICK!!! I do not need this. My husband is the worst at being sick. I can probably count on one hand in our 14 years of marriage that he has been sick and each time is horrible. I certainly do not wnat to get sick but the thought of him piled up in front of the tv with fleece on for the next few days makes me sick. Sorry to go on but I needed to get this out.

My hubby has to work his part time job at price chopper from 8am till 4pm on Christmas Eve.
Luckily-he gets Christmas day off from both regular and part time jobs, but it's back to work on the 26th. He never gets a break.
