I haven't tried it yet but want to:

LIVE yoga instruction (or you can save and view it later) on your computer. It's free

Our library's card catalog is online. I haven't done it but have thought about doing a search for yoga video or dvd and then reading reviews at Amazon or epinions.com before I check them out. I checked out a few without reading the reviews and neither was so good...

The problem is, no video is as good as the real thing! I take Yoga class at our local community college. Class is $55 a semester for two 1-hour sessions a week. I just find that I stick with it better if I am in a class/group and have met some extraordinary women of my age in the class. I've never been able to get motivated to stick with something that is on the TV screen but that's me.

I have a book; 'Complete Idiot's Guide : Yoga' by Joan Budilovsky and Eve Adamson, 4th Edition Revised with Carolyn Flynn. It is the best guide that I've ever seen. If you turn on some soft music, the illustrations are very easy to follow and true to what I have learned in classes. It retails for around $12.95.

Here it is at Amazon so you can see the cover... I picked it up at Costco a year or so ago:

I have lower back problems and have had no pain since I've been doing Yoga. I am more flexible, more toned, and stronger... Some of the moves can be very cardio as well. It can truly be an amazing workout if done correctly.

Good luck in your search! Let us know how the online one goes. That looks interesting!

Check this out. I like the Rodney Yee abs one, I don't find it too difficulty, but it seems effective, and his voice is soothing. I managed to buy it twice, once by itself, and once with an Ana Caban Pilates video that I HATED. Sent one copy to my mum, and hope she likes it. Oh, sometimes gaiam.com has good mark-downs. too.

The only one that I have tried and liked was You Can Do Yoga by Leslie Sansone. She is the one who makes the walk away the pound videos. I am not athletic and I am not in good shape but I liked her yoga dvd.

Thanks for all the good suggestions and help! I was debating whether to take a Hatha Yoga class at the YMCA or to buy a video to do at home. My 38th birthday is in 4 days and I want to give myself the gift this year of FINALLY taking care of ME!! That means I am planning to exercise every day and take a yoga class to reduce my stress level (and since I have 4 DDs, my stress level tends to rise quickly!! LOL).

Thanks everyone!!
