I have a lot of bootleg concerts on mine. U2, Peter Gabriel, Bowie... a lot of late 70's early 80's stuff, depends on who floats your boat. I also have about 1,500 of my favorite 1 hit wonders and favorite artists. What I did when I got my first cd burner was (back in the day of napster) was use search terms like "1 hit wonders", "hits from the 60s" (or whatever era you're partial to),

If you go to amazon and look over the compilation records you can get a lot of titles from there. Itunes has a decent amount of stuff but you may have to resort to slightly nefarious actions to obtain others. PM me if you need help or tunage.

You must download (She Sells) Sanctuary by The Cult

Isn't it funny how that's becoming an outdated question? Geez, I feel old sometimes. I still remember when I swapped 8 Tracks with my best friend in 5th grade.

I thought you were asking what I was listening to right now...

I listen to music as I surf the net.

I have the Mark Harris, Line Between the Two CD in right now.
Track number 4 is very meaningful...Wish you were here is the name of the song.

Secular music favorites are Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Tobey Keith, Alan Jackson, George Straight, etc...

Have fun loading the IPOD,
X

Okay, well, I'm basically the freak of this group . I'm not really into MP3 players, I still own two working turntables, a working 8 track player, two cassette players (I'm not sure if they work or not), and several CD players. The last CD I listened to was Twisted Sister's new Christmas album, "A Twisted Chrismas".

I also purchased the new Daughtry CD. And better yet the new Bianca Ryan CD. She is the 12 year old from PHILLY who won America's Got Talent!

I have an iPod and a turntable, and used to have an eight-track player. I listen to my iPod at work, since my job involves answering emails. It's pretty eclectic; everything from heavy metal to theme songs from old kids' shows. My CD player in the car currently contains Pulp and Shonen Knife. Pandora.com is a LOT of help for finding new music, and it's free. Type in something you like, see what it suggests, and give what comes up a pass or fail.

It's empty right now. I had Josh Groban's new CD in it "Awake". I think he wrote some of the songs himself? His voice is getting better than ever, but most of the songs are not that good. I have his CD called "Josh Groban" in my car it's amazing ! I listen to it all the time.

I think JG is trying to break into POP, and so is Bocelli. I saw Bocelli, on PBS the other night, in Vegas. It was his first ever POP concert. Boy was that Boring ! They should stick to what they do best.

Edit to add

In my car I have a Best of Queen ( 2 CD's) , Match Box 20, Yellow Brick Road (Elton John), Josh Groban, and a country CD for DH .

All of us listen to Christian music. I don't have an MP3 player (don't really want one, either), but in the car right now, I have the new Kutless CD in. Kutless, Day of Fire and Casting Crowns are my faves!

We have a CD player in the bedroom, I think it hold 5 CD's) and hubby has a mix of things in there. Some old school Christmas songs, the new Twisted Sister Christmas CD, and Lord only knows what else! LOL My car only has a tape player for now. DH got me a CD player for my car for my b-day and I'm just waiting for a part to come in so it can be installed. I'll be listening to mostly my Def Leppard CD's, since they're my fav group. I also have my 80's music on CD. Might have to go and buy some new stuff and break it in!
