I just went to your website (http://www.freewebs.com/mcgrathville/index.htm ) and I am so saddened by the loss of your husband. This just brought me to tears. Losing a loved one is so hard, but there is something about losing one at the holidays that makes it worse. Your husband was only six mos. older than me. I remember when the accident happened and it just made me cry. It's not fair, it's really not fair. Just know our prayers are w/ you. He sounds like such an amazing man. I am always reminded of the Billy Joel song, "Only the good die young." This time of the year is so tough on a lot of ppl, but I can't imagine the pain your family is still in. I pray for your strength and pray for happy celebrations w/ your family this Christmas season.

Stella,you and your family are in my prayers. I understand only too well how precious life is ,as I'm sitting in the hospital with my brother ,who is recovering from leukemia,a brain tumor and paralysis. You were so kind to respond to me a few weeks ago when I asked for prayers for him. The docs diagnosed the continuing paraysis as transverse myelytis-an inflammation of the spinal cord and are treating him with steroids . His recovery is excruciating and slow and we continue to pray that he will recover his strength and stay cancer frr(he's in remission now). I was desperate a few weeks ago and you and so many others prayed and gave the dr.'s wisdom to figure it out. I do believe in the power of prayer and my prayers are for God to give you and your children strength to carry on and find peace,as your husband so believed in Jesus' power-it almost seems clear to me why God wanted him-but,like my brother,I feel Tim could do so much more here on earth by his wonderful example of his life and beliefs. That is the part that is hard for me to grasp. I will always remember you in my payers. Love Debbie
PS Thanks to everyone for their kind words amd prayers-see they really do work-my new saying is "Pray it forward" By doing something so simple and selfless,you help others and it reflects back on you many times over-I feel that if we could start a movement like this,our world would be such a better place to live in-more tolerant and kind.
