It's 6:30AM Christmas Morning

Usually the kids are up at 5:00 on Christmas morning, but here I sit enjoying a little alone time. I am amazed.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Merry Christmas! I slept in til 7:00am this morning. Its 8:45 now and everyone but me is still in bed. Its peaceful now. We had a really great night last night. Wow did alot of people show up this year. We had a revolving door that started at 3pm and didnt end til after midnight. No Christmas eve food left to even carry over for today. It must have been really good this year because they wiped me out! lol

This morning I have picked up the livingroom once already, will have to do again once DH and son gets up and we do presents. I am in the process of straightening the kitchen up so I get christmas dinner started. Need to put my coffee and cini buns on because soon the boys will be up and ready to go.

Have a great Holiday

Aprile

Well, I wish that I could say the same thing. My 10 year old was SOOO excited. I finally got her down for the last time at 10:45 last night and then she was up at 3:15am. I made her stay in my bed and not move. She was able to watch TV, never knew there were so many Fresh Prince or Full House Christmas episodes. We have agreed that 7am was the earliest we would get up. Everyone else got up at 7am. It is now 9:21 and I am dragging. At 11 we have to go to the in laws. My husband is 1 of 7 so with the immediate family only there are 42. I am NOT up to this without a nap!!!

It's 10am here..we did our gifts last night because my oldest had her nursing job to go to this morning. Everyone else is still sleeping-I'm going to throw on my windpants and my sweatshirt-go clean up from last night's dinner, then start making breakfast

I woke up a little after 7 and as soon as my oldest heard me up, she jumped up, woke up her dad and sister and took off to open the gifts. Now we're enjoying breakfast and will start the clean up, put together and put up process....that's the part I dread most!

I didn't go to be till around 12am last night and my Ohhhhh so excited 9 yr. old DD got up at 2:00 am. Yes, you read that right, 2 a.m.. She couldn't take it anymore and had to go and check downstairs to see if Santa came or not. Got her to go back to bed and she woke up an hour later. Repeated that one more time and I just couldn't take it. So I got up at 4:00am. I'm dragging today. I forgot to mention that I've had a cold for 2wks now that I am just now starting to get better from and now lack of sleep. O-well....to be a kid again and feel that kind of excitement!

Told our kids they could wake us up at 6:30. They did good and stayed quiet in their bedroom until then.

I'm curious, too. What kind of clients require service on Christmas?
