| I had read several reviews on the moon sand and found half of the kids loved it and half didn't. Most parents said it was very messy. (My thought was what sand isn't?) My parents purchased it for my 3 children ages 2, 6, and 9. They have had so much fun with it today. They received the standard castle kit, but we have been making shapes out of large metal cookie cutters. This has been more fun than the molds. Yes.. the floor is messy, but that's what my Dyson is for. Was your gift a hit or miss? |

I have an allergy to sand (moon or beach), flour and the most recent allergy is to packing peanuts. Just can't stand those 3 things in my house. LOL

It was a bit of a let down for my boys. I got them the castle set and the farm set. They were bored with the castle set after about 5 minutes, and they haven't even asked to open up the farm set. I guess the play area is a bit smaller than I expected, and they have trouble playing with it at the same time. The cookie cutter idea is good though. I may try that. They were so exicted about getting this, I'd hate to see it be such a dud!
