Who else will be out shopping in the morning!?

My FIL and I are headed out early to get some good deals on wrapping paper, cards, etc for next year, is anyone else going out and where do you go first?

We usually go to Walmart and Kmart since they are close. I remember seeing the Hallmark store with a line around the block a couple years ago, no way would I brave that mob.

I would like to get to Bed Bath and Beyond, but not with 2 kids I don't think.

Dd wants to hit the mall to look for clothes for her new job, so we'll go there first. And I convinced her that she should also look at Kohl's, so hopefully we'll be there too (that's where I'll look)

I am not going out this year...maybe hit walmart and get some cards for next year but I still have tons of wrapping paper and tons of bows, boxes, ornaments, etc from years gone by. I live too far from Target...by the time I would get there they would have nothing left worth buying.

Not Me. I try to avoid the crowds during the holidays, especially black friday & the day after christmas..The deals are awesome, but it puts me in a bad mood..Some people just can be plain rude & nearly run you over.. The last time, I went shopping during christmas my car was hit ..I walk out to my car and found a dent the size of a basketball... no note, nothing..It would of been nice if they stuck around for me to return to my car & said I'm sorry.. I wouldn't of made a claim on their insurance..DH was able to bang out the bump with no problems

We only ended up going to Walmart and Lowes. Walmart had a TON of stuff left, I spent about $100, but got a bunch of stuff for next year and for now. We heard Kmart was wiped out so we didn't even bother to go there. Lowes had their sale last week I guess, but we had to stop there for something else anyway.

Nothing exciting really, a pretty boring morning actually. How did you make out?

My cupboards are full of ziplock bags as of this morning! Love after Christmas sales on paper/plastic products! Was able to really make out on these items as I also had quite a few "ziplock coupons" to bring the cost down even more. I'm set for the year, possibly two!

I didn't go out, but wish I had. I was just too worn out. The older I get, the less I feel like getting up if I don't really have to. I don't need anything that badly. I've gotten spoiled and usually like to wait for things to go 75%...but usually I only find a bunch of junk at that point. I would've loved to have gotten some tissue and paper towels at Target though. I'm going to try to get DH to go out with me in awhile and check out a few places...that will be a first as he hates to shop. I'm just wondering why no one has posted their "finds" today on the B&M boards? I've noticed that not too many people have been posting much these days...especially on my sweeps boards...SIGH. Have a great day! ~Lisa

I went to the mall to hit Bath and Body...they were wiped out. It was so disappointing and to to top it off, the sales person was rude. I stopped at Walmart and found some cute gift sets at 50% off and plenty of Ziploc bags too for .95. Oh well, guess I saved some money!

I can't even imagine shopping today. My house looks like it was hit by a tornado of toys! LOL. Plus, I slept in til 9:45. Guess I needed the sleep! I may venture out later this evening, but probably not. I will go check things out later this week! :O)

I wish I could have been out shopping today, I have been sick for 3-4 days now and I don't think I am going to make it out tomorrow unless it is to the doctor.
