Anyone else here sick? Haven't been sick all year and I'm hosting a big party and I can't even breath have terrible sore throat just the plain ole nasty cold. I have been a bit of a couch potato today UGH! To make matters worse my monthly visitor arrived today could it get any worse?

I started getting a cold about a week and a half ago. It gradually seemed better but then all of a sudden I had this terrible cough. I've had it for about 3 days now. It's the type, your throat tickles, you cough until you gag or literally throw up(sorry, I know that's gross). Now tonight I'm all stopped up again and feel like the plain old cold is coming back....uggghhhh......I read somewhere that a virus is going around and the symptoms are like a cold and/or pneumonia sypmtoms but it's just a virus. Sounds pretty nasty too.

I will be with you guys I have a major ear infection seen 2 docs so far & nothing is working I am in so much pain right now I feel like screaming I am coming here to chat because I cant hear much & cant talk much it hurts too bad I am so mad all this money spent on meds & docs & nothing not all docs are clueless but the 2 I seen I believe are!!!

I was out getting my nails done today and some old bag came in and sat next to me-she hacked up a lung the entire time she was there..it was so gross. At least the girls who work in the place wear masks. Funny thing was, they kept asking her if she wanted water, a cough drop, or to go outside..finally the girl who had started her nails got up and walked away and was having a fit in Korean to the owner..LOL HE finally came over and asked the lady to go outside till she was ok as it was freaking out his staff..hahah

ugh...now I feel sick even thinking about it.

I just got done with 10 days of Cipro for a sinus infection that refuses to go away, I sure hope it's gone now.

I hope you are all better soon, and up to ringing in the New Year !

Me too! I went to the Dr yesterday. I have an ear infection, nasal infection and bronchitis! So, I'm on the ZPack and cough syrup with codeine. I fee like my head is going to explode!!

I know how you feel!! I had it last New Years.
I hate being sick and feel sorry for all of you.

Add me to the list too. I have a plugged nose, very sore throat, and a headache. The baby has one of those coughs that sound awful and dry (and hurt). We are supposed to go to Grandmas tomorrow for Christmas but I am not sure I want to. New Years Eve will be the kids in bed and me with a good book (DH has to work).

I am just getting over it, I went out to the store for the first time since Sunday. I got sick about a week ago. Started with a waking up with a sore throat for a couple of days, then went to horibble head congestion, couldn't breathe at all through my nose, sore throat, coughing. I didn't do to the doctor, I just took Ibuprofen and Benadryl, doing alot better now, but it's still hanging on a bit.
