2007 Resolutions?

Here's mine.....

1. Pay off one bill per month-or make a big dent in a bigger one.
2. Travel more
3. Go to church more frequently
4. Do "something" every day (I suffer from pretty bad depression and this will be a challenge for me)
5. Go back to curves
6. Get more accomplished on my scrapbooks
7. Keep house better
8. Clean the garage
9. Take better care of me
10. Walk on the beach once a month

Hopefully these aren't too big that I can keep at least some of them....

What are yours?

Robin's Top 10

1.) Get back to the gym.
2.) Eat less. (I have not been eatting well for the past few weeks)
3.) Save more money.
4.) Keep my house more organized.
5.) Not to put my daughter's school above things that are more important.
6.) Get rid of things!!! Lighten the load of the house.
7.) Study my Bible more often.
8.) Be more calm. (Bad temper and I am NOT a red head.)
9.) Not to yell so much.
and lastly
10.) Set a better example for my daughter.

(11. I also had to add Keep the inside of my car clean.)

Well as of today I have broken 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 , 10, and 11!!! At least #5 has still held true. Tomorrow is a new day.

Those sounds great! I really don't have too many this year, but the ones I have are pretty BIG.
1. Lose 25 pounds before the wedding--June 16. (I ordered the 2007 WW program yesterday!)
2. Put $600 a month in savings so I can have the wedding paid for at the end of May.
3. Continue to focus on moments and not "things"
4. Continue working out twice a week, but add walking everyday to that.
5. HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!

I definately have some major goals for this year.
1. FINALLY get myself into better health.
2. Work on resolving my credit problem

Those are going to tough enough and if I can make those work this year I feel like I will have accomplished a GREAT deal!!!

I never make resolutions but this year I hope to save about $500/mo so I can go back to college next January, that ought to be close to covering tuition fees and books for 2 semesters.

1) start a yoga class again (if I can find one I like)
2) have sex more often (not a normal resolution but we haven't found much time for *us* with work and the kids. We NEED to make it a priority)

Red face My Resolution

My resolution is a bit unusual. I am going to do for me this year.

All my life I always did for others. I would put me on the back burner and put myself second.

This year I am going to make an effort to do for myself and am quite excited about it. Should not be hard to keep that Resolution!

I don't make resolutions however I am going to try to be more patient with my kids
and have more dh and me time. We went out (as in dancing) last weekend for the first
time since we got married. It was so much fun putting ourselves first! Kid's didn't like it at first that we were not taking them with us (ummm night club ...don't think so haha) but they got over it.

Well I started out trying to let things at work just slide off my back and not be such a bitch, but
I blew that on the 2nd- could not handle one of my co-workers sitting at her desk reading her newest novel all day. She did get up for lunch, breaks and to use the pottey, so I guess it wasn't all day. We finally did get a supervisor to witness this. But as usual, nothing happened.
So....I guess I probably keeping my house more organized will be a failure to.
Hopefully though we will keep the one that we have someone over for supper or games once a month work.

To hotwheelQT and Ilovemychurch (and anyone else),
I'm assuming you both are christians and I couldn't help noticing that you both mentioned "moods" (depression, yelling, being more calm) in your list of resolutions. I also struggle in these areas. I saw a book at Sam's Club today that I thought you might be interested in. I did not purchase it but am seriously considering it. Their price was $5.xx. It is the Women of Faith Study Guide Series: Managing Your Moods by Nelson Impact, foreward by Marilyn Meberg.
