Question How can I make some money fast?

Anyone have any good ideas of how I can make 1,000 dollars asap? I have a couple of bills to pay, and I want to pay them off in the next 2 months. They were for gifts I bought DH, so I don't want to use our household money to pay for them if I don't have to! Besides my husband is a cash only kind of guy, so he's going to have a heart attack when he finds out about the bills anyhow!

these things may not get your $1K but will get you closer to paying stuff off

sell stuff from around the house on ebay

have a yard sale (won't be $1K but it will be something...)

take old clothes to a consignment store

babysit 1 child in your home (more than 1 and you have to be licensed depending on your state). The mom's I know who do it make about $200-300 a week with one kid

Babysitting for an event or overnight or weekend getaway for a family will get you several hundred dollars.
Try saving more than you do now and putting in a jar or envelope. My Mom paid off the mortgage early and bought stock in the 1970s with four kids by literally putting savings including many dollar bills into an envelope until she had $500 or more.
Selling stuff you think you need but don't use is another good idea. Go through all closets, garage, storage areas, etc. Remember the rule: if you haven't used it in one year you probably won't use it.
Clean some houses you can make $100 or more for one house but $50 is the bare bones minimum even for a little apt.
What is needed in your area? Can you be someone's personal asst or buy groceries for people who are busy when you get your own?
There is no such thing as "get rich quick" but by doing a little of all these things you can put a big dent in it and maybe pay it off.

Call your local Dominos, Pizza Hut, or Papa Johns and see if they are hiring drivers. You can make some great cash. If you have evenings available, moonlight as a bartender. I bring home up to $70 a shift (not including my hourly wage of $10 per hour) when I work. I am sure the tips are even better in other locales. I am in ND at a miiltary base. It doesn't require much training and I can work around DH and kids schedules. Best part-time, no brainer job I have ever had! No, it doesn't utilize my education, but it is lots of fun.

If you do Ebay..have the auction for 1 to 3 days with a BIN (Buy it now) to get the funds quicker.

Also you might want to try an auction house. Some will let you bring in things and they will auction it off for a fee. I am considering this myself.

Call your local newspaper and see if they need paper delivered in your area. That can be done in the early morning if you have children.

If you have antiques there are plenty of dealers who will take them off your hands for $$$. Look in the newspaper or phone book, but that can be risk as you might not get the actual value of it.

As other mentioned...babysitting, house sitting or even pet sitting will bring in the funds.

Good luck! Hope it works out for ya!

Also, if you eBay, check out the MyCoupons Auction Talk Message Boards... heh.

I have also heard of people having great luck selling items on www.craigslist.com

My DH would catch on right away when I started selling his stuff. LOL.

Hope you are able to figure it out. That's hard.

donate plasma?
Just heard an ad on the radio around here that they were looking for a few good people...
Maybe that was another ad, but the plasma one said you could donate over and over again over the course of a month or weeks... something like that.
I've never done it but it might be what you're looking for.

There are quite a few places that will pay big bucks for plasma. That is a great idea! It only takes a short while and you get paid immediately
