| "Light To Unite" World Aids Day
I found this in Real Health Mag. "Too many people are still in the dark about how widespread HIV/AIDS is in the U.S. Shedding light on the impact of HIV/AIDS here in the U.S. starts with one person. You. Go to lighttounite.org. Light a virtual candle and pass it along. To a friend. To two. For every candle lit online Bristol-Myers Squibb will give a donation to the National AIDS Fund to help support the fight against HIV/AIDS in the U.S." https://www.lighttounite.org/?origin...ghttounite.org Even though this was Dec 1st the site is still up and counting candles. I am sorry if this is the wrong board. I looked at all of them and this one seemed to come closest to a fit. Mare |

This appeared to be a great program when it started, Bristol-Myers Squibb promised to donate $1.00 for every candle lit. Unfortunately they capped the promotion to $100,000.00 shortly after it started. Even though they have have over 1,750,000 signatures the National AIDS Fund will only be receiving $100,000.00 from the promotion. I wonder how much money BMS will make with their new drug REYATAZ?
