Anyone else home with sick kids??

Three of my four have "mycoplasma"...walking pneumonia. They've been sick ALL week...finally turning the corner since I took them to the MD on Friday.

I am going NUTS!! My husband and oldest are off to church (He is the Pastor so has to go ). As soon as I get home I am off to the store and maybe to sneak into Old Navy! I had been avoiding the LWIF brick and mortor board so I didn't see what I was missing being stuck at home. THEN, a friend of mine stopped by Friday afternoon and TOLD me what I was missing!! We have a little issue of freezing drizzle here, but hopefully by this afternoon it'll be cleared up.

It was like that ALL month of Nov. for me...My oldest had pneumonia and then had a bronchitis a few weeks later almost full blown pneumonia for the second time...My youngest just was sick on/off

RIGHT NOW...the kids are great BUT I have had some sort of stomach thing since thursday!! Not fun being sick and no other adult around....

Yuck! I hope they all get well soon!!! We've been pretty lucky around here....knock on wood!!!

I am with ya my middle dd has pneumonia now too been sick for 2 two weeks she is finally getting better got her on meds last week. And I had an ear infection going on a month now still not over it & now have strep throat I am going crazy my youngest turns 3 tommorrow & I feel like a terrible mom I havent got anything ready really I have been to busy taking care of my 6yr old & being sick myself.

My whole class was coming down with something at the end of the week last week. And alllll of them were at school coughing and sneezing all over everything. Blech! I told all of them to get better over the long weekend.

Hope all the sick ones are better soon. We've had our share of the cruds here too but finally are getting over it all, I think.

Last week I had 2 of the 3 sick...My middle DS and my youngest DS. Got both of them to the DR on Friday and I thought I was going to be spending the weekend in the hospital.with my youngest DS. They thought he had pneumonia but it turned out to be a sever check conjestion. My middle Ds had the beginnings of it and a ear infection. With a shot and lots of meds they are both doing much better.

YUCK. I guess I don't have it so bad. I have 5 kids, but only one sick---my 7 month old. He is on an antibiotic for double ear infections, and is on breathing treatments for RSV. He is doing better, though. At least he doesn't have to go into the hospital for RSV---he is a big boy and very strong----The dr. said he would be fine doing treatments at home.

Sorry to hear of all your sick little ones! We are definitely on the mend here. Mommy feels better after some bargin hunting at Old Navy!! Ready for the day off tomorrow...ice and snow on the way...hoping for snow!

Going to surf the internet now to see if my 5 year old can overdose on the inhaler they gave him. The girl's counters say that they have eight remaining puffs, his only FIVE!!! I think he snuck a few extras! They are now WAY up high.

Shopping always helps to clear the cobwebs... I'm so glad that they are on the mend. It is amazingly difficult to have even one sick. I think that the worry is almost the worst part! Having kids is such a blessing but so hard at times. Hang in there!
