I am the leader of a group of church youth girls 12 adn 13. We are going to a talent show on Wed. and none of the girls were signing up to do anything, so I signed them all up do do a lip sync. Now I need some ideas that are age appropriate for 12 adn 13 year olds to lip sync to. Mind you, this is also church related, but songs do not have to be "churchy" just appropriate songs. Some ideas I had were "leader of the pack" by Shangri Las, or "girls just wanna have fun" by Cyndi Lauper. Other options are "Video killed the radio star"...
Do you have ANY suggestions???

I would think that a lot of the songs from the 60's girl group would be cool and you could possibly dress them in period costums (poodle skirts, sweater set, saddle shoes, or blue jeans rolled up, tshirts w/ letterman jackets and penny loafers).

I didn't either--until I read them on another mssg board! I was shocked that those were ACTUALLY the words!

Okay, I came up with a few more, I do like pretty much anything by the bangles, Also, the song, Kids in America... I think it would be fun for the group to do...

Maybe you could have them dress as cheerleaders with pigtails and do Toni Basil's 80's hit Oh Mickey.

I just love "Stop, in the Name of Love" before you break my heart. And then have them do the hand motions to it. I saw a comedy routine of it once and it was great.
