It is 35 degrees here in Peachtree City, GA today. I know you people who live where it's colder are rolling your eyes but I'm just not used to this!
We usually have cold weather this time of year but this year has been so weird. It was 75 here on Monday!

Well I'll trade you. I live in Alaska and it's almost 40 degrees out and what little snow we had all melted! I want cold weather so send it my way! LOL!

deenbrad, did you guys get any ice/sleet last night or today? My boss was supposed to fly from Tallahassee to Washington, DC today, going through Atlanta, but her flight was canceled yesterday due to the predicted nasty weather.

It's wierd here too. Earlier this week it was getting close to 80 during the day. I was in shorts and came close to turning on the AC at home. Today, our high is supposed to be in the 50's. According to The Weather Channel, right now it's only 47, but feels like 44. So far, this month, we've either been way above or way below what our average temp should be.

We did not get any real ice. A little sleet last night.
As far as I know the airport was not really affected either - just north and east of Atlanta

I will send ice to anyone that wants it, LOL. We had an ice storm starting last Friday, several inches of ice, everything was shut down for at least three days. Today it finally got above freezing and starting to melt. Our school is going in late (out Monday and Tuesday though) but the larger school districts have been out all week and tomorrow too. Our state is in a "state of emergency" as there are still hundreds of thousands without power. We lost power, but only the first day for a few hours. Now we are getting ready for 5-8 inches of snow this weekend. I hate cold weather and snow.

Well I am in IA & today we had a heat wave it got up to 23degrees but of course that brought more snow not fun. The temp all week has been like 15 below!!! Lets just say I am ready to move south

Does a place exist that has moderate (70's) temps all year long, doesn't have insects the size of your head, and doesn't have tornadoes or earthquakes?
