What are you getting your man for Valentine's Day

I am so clueless as to what to get my man....just curious what everyone else is doing....maybe it will spark some creativity in me.

Go to VS and get yourself something small and see-through to wear. Then put the kids to bed, get dolled up, have a glass of wine and say "Happy Valentines Day." Another thing thing to do is wake-up early, get dolled up, wake him up, tell him "Happy Valentines Day."

One year for DHs B-Day I gave him a small box with a pair of underwear in it. I was wearing a skirt and he was happy.

Men only want one thing..... if they say they don't they are lieing (DH told me this a few times).

Well your dh can only speak for himself.

My dh wants that X-box 360 in the worst way. I could lay across it naked with a big bow on me and he would just roll me off to get to it.

ROFL!! That reminds me of a time...When I went strolling in front of the Tv in a sexy lingera trying to get my dh attention away from his Hockey Game "Big Mistake" He yelled MOVE How did I know they were about to score a goal Well his team was not the only one that lost that night

For Valentines Day I always fix a nice candle light dinner..He always buys me a dozen red roses & godiva's..I buy him a small gift & box of dark chocolate godiva's...This year I'm buying him Hogan's Hero on Dvd..

That is too funny!!

Mine wants a new recliner. I am thinking about it but we are going on vacation soon and I should save the $$ and use it for the trip. He really would like a recliner though. We will have to see.

I already got my husband an XBox, so he'd better be happy with me! I had no idea what I was doing, but now I've decided to keep some of the undies I got today hidden until then. Sadly enough, I know I'm making cookies for my coworkers, and his too. The men I work with only want one thing, and yeah, it's baked goods.

This year I am getting him a new wedding ring. In April we are renewing our vows with our family and friends. Having the wedding we never had. So to speak.

Ewww- it is on a Wednesday. That means I will be cooking at home that night, and we will go out and celebrate the weekend before, or the weekend after.

He told me that there is something video game related he wants. Do not remember it though.

Dh's birthday is on Valentine's Day so we really celebrate that more than Valentine's. Although he does always get me flowers. We have reservations for Sullivan's Steakhouse. I'm getting him some Kennedy Half Dollars and Eagle Silver Dollars that he collects, maybe an xbox game if I can find one he wants used, and possibly some sunglasses he's been wanting. Not sure if I want to spend the $ on the sunglasses, still debating on that one. He needs new headphones for his ipod and wants a charger for it. I might get them as well.

lol, thanks for the laugh. Even DH laughed when I read it to him .
DH has to work on Valentines Day so we'll probably go out the weekend before or after. Dinner and a movie. I try to get him a card that states how I really feel about him and alittle something more. He collects dragons and we found a couple stuffed dragons with hearts on them. Figured I would let the kiddos each get him one.
He usually goes overboard for me, balloons, flowers, candy and all. I always tell him not to but he does anyways. I just enjoy having some "us time".

Well, V-day this year is also our 20th anniversary. Big day!!! We are usually very frugal, but this is special. He has the go- ahead to pick out his big screen tv. I would not try to buy this for him, just as I would not want him picking out by himself what he is getting for me- something big and sparkly!!!!

Just a heads up

Went to walmart today & found the cutest shirt. It has two old iron jail cuffs on it, and it says "he's taken". For 4.xx, I thought it was totally cute. Dh jokes about being chained to me- so I thought he would like it.

There were other ones too, but the taken one was my favorite.

Nothing...he won't be here. He'll just be getting back into town after Valentines Day. He's missed DS bday, his own Bday, and our Anniversary, PLUS Valentines Day, so I'm hoping to do something "FUN" when he gets back into town (or the coutry actually--he's in Taiwan)

This sounds like our plan as well. This is honestly one of the things that we like to do the most and don't do very often... go out for dinner (and spend time alone together!)! So, we are both really looking forward to it. Plus, I'll probably buy him a box of Whoppers candy... his favorite!

We don't enjoy going out to eat for V-day. The restaurants are usually overcrowded which doesn't make for an intimate, romantic setting. We are in a wedding the weekend before so we are using up our babysitting quota with the in-laws. We will most likely put the kids to bed and hubby will go pick up our order from Outback curbside take away. While he's out, I'll set the dining room table with candles and our good china, open a bottle of wine, and slip into something "comfortable".

I'll most likely just get him a card. He was very spoiled at X-mas.

I will get him a card. He does not need any chocolate. Perhaps if Millstone has a peppermint flavored coffee I will get him that. His birthday is the 17th so I hate to have a cake not finished and then make another one a few days later.

That's funny! Shaving your legs for him...
Me and my boyfriend ( only of 1 1/2 yrs) do not celebrate V day. We both agree that is it just a day for the stores to sell crap. We show our love everyday, we do not need one day to show how much we love each other. I am not a jewlery person and if I wanted chocolates I'd buy myself some. Don't get me wrong, we are very romantic. We do not ask for anything for V day, but I will get him a mushy card.
