Talking What do you drive? Luv it Hate it?

I drive a 1994 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon ( A Woody) with a LT1 350 HP engine, all leather with all the extras for the time. I love it. It fits all the kids and some extras (seats 8) I can tow a trailer or boat with it, and it is better than our truck because whatever I put in the back doesn't get wet if it rains. I can also seperate misbehaving children/teens so they can't "touch each other" the down side is if I want to swat at someone in the back seat I can't cause it is too big and my arms aren't long enough. *L* My husband is trying to talk me into a big truck.....all I can keep telling him is I love my car. I will drive it until the end and then cry when it is gone. Sad but true. :-)

I drive a 2000 Acura TL and love it! DH drives a 2003 Chevy Tahoe Z71. He likes it, but doesn't love it. We need it because we have a travel trailer that it pulls.

I had a 1999 Odyssey which DH is now driving.

I love Hondas - swear by their quality

I have a 1967 Chrysler New Yorker-in near mint condition with 33,000 ORIGINAL miles on it. It was left to me by a relative who died last year. It's a huge gas hog but I look pretty cool driving it!

I have a 1996 Mitsubish Galant that I don't think will ever die. Not that I am complaining, because we could never afford a new car.

I also drive a 2003 GMC Denali that is really fun. I can park in a parking space like it is a matchbox car and you should see the looks I get from men when the back wheels turn. Super cool!

I drive a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser. I love it! It is fun to drive, comfortable, and above all, different. They are available in 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive, I wanted the 2 wheel drive, don't really need a 4 wheel drive around here, and I don't go off-roading! I also got the upgraded stereo, which I love! It gets about 18 mpg, which is not great, but better than the Suburban I had. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have a dinger if I leave the lights on and get out. Oh, and I love NO CARPET!

I have a 2000 Ford Windstar Van and I hate it. It has 38,000 miles on it and has had so many problems that I think its a lemon. It's paid off and we really don't want car payments so we are stuck for awhile.

We had a 2002 Ford Windstar that we traded in for the Jag.
Like you, it had nothing BUT problems! I will never, ever by another Ford Product like a minivan again (Jaguar is different, just like the Lincoln's are nice even though they are owned by Ford).

I will never drive another Minivan again, tho. I drove one for 15 years and like I told the Jaguar salesman when he drove off in our minivan/trade in. I said, "I have never been so happy to see something go away!"

Trust me, a car payment is SO WORTH not having the headaches of a Ford Windstar!

Funny thing is we finally just traded in our 1997 Ford Windstar which was also a lemon but we enjoyed having it for the years that we did... It sure cost a lot in repairs over the years.

Last March, we traded it in for a 2006 Toyota RAV4 which was totalled in October. SAD... Not our fault. No one of our family of four was hurt so we replaced with same in 2007 model.... it proved it's safety to us! Got full value back on the 2006 because Toyota holds its value (as does Honda).

So, we have a 2007 Toyota RAV4 which is very roomy (my DH is 6'3" and had leg and head room to spare in the back seats), comfy ride, and gets 28 mpg average.

We LOVE it!

I currently drive a 2000 Saab 9-5 but want a new one. Red this time!

I drive a 2005 Jeep Liberty. Well, I did that is until my car accident on the 8th of this month. I'm ok (banged up and bruised, but ALIVE), but my poor Jeep wasn't so lucky. It is in the repair shop tho (one of the best in our area I've been told) so I'm hoping to have it back in a couple of weeks or so. I DO love it, love driving it...it feels so sporty. It used to be dh's....I had a Laredo, but he decided to trade that in on his new Chevy truck, so I got the Liberty. I think I'm pretty much stuck on Jeeps.....at one time (just a couple of years ago) we owned FIVE!

I drive a 2004 Toyota Camry LE and love it. I know everybody's got one, but I don't care. It's a great family car, is very roomy and has a large trunk.

That's good to know about the RAV4. DH drives a 1999 Nissan Sentra right now and can't wait to replace it with a truck or suv. Just the other day, he mentioned that someone that he knows through work just got a new RAV4 and said that he really liked the look of it. They are a much nicer looking vehicle than they were when they first cameout. I'm glad you mentioned that your tall husband isn't cramped too - my DH is almost 6'4". It also sounds like it gets better gas mileage than my Camry, which gets 23-24 mpg.

I drive a 2006 Mazda Tribute. I love my car because it is just so sassy looking, Teal blue and I have animal print seat covers that look really cool from the outside! It's a great size, fits all my needs. It is my first brand new car and that is a good feeling know that all but 27 miles are from me! I only wish it had a sunroof...
DH drives a 2007 Saturn Ion, he traded in his macho Jeep for this car b/c of gas milage...Saturn gets 33+ mpg whereas the Jeep got 14mpg...big diffenence when you have to commute. I like dh car because it has OnStar, which is a really cool feature.

2005 Nissan Armada

It's loaded and I love it. I had an Expedition, and I always felt uneasy driving it in the rain. It didn't seem to sit very heavy on the road. My Armada is like a tank. It's awesome. DH drives a 2000 Jeep Wrangler he bought last year. It's been his dream to have a Wrangler, and after driving our little '95 Escort for 11 years, I think he earned it.

I have a Mercedes ML430 (It's the SUV version). I love it, it was my dream car for the longest. I enjoy driving it.

I also have an older Honda Civic. It great on gas, but it's old. Everyone sorta rolls their eyes when I have to have it fixed for something but I like it. It's a fun car to drive. I plan to pass it on to my oldest son soon. Right now, my mom is using it.

We needed back seat legroom since my 12yo son is already 5'8"...! Yikes! we anticipate him needing a lot of leg room in the next few years. Very sleek looking... Yes, we are very happy. The safety (that we tested w/ our 2006 model) was a HUGE factor in our decision to replace with the 2007 RAV4. We have the 2-wheel-drive 4-cylinder model... drives like every other similar SUV's 6-cylinder models. Peppy little car!

I drive a Trailblazer. I hate it (it was dh's car, he got a compact and I got stuck with this). It's too big, makes it hard to back out. I don't like the color (sand), everyone picked the same color and I can never figure out which one is mine.

Wow! Your son IS tall already! Sounds like he'll be at least as tall as your husband, if not taller.

I know what you're talking about with the 4-cylinder driving like a 6-cylinder. My Camry is a 4-cylinder, but it really has a lot of get-up-and-go too! We would never be towing anything anyways, so I really don't see the point in us spending more money to get a 6-cylinder that you end up pumping more gas into.

I drive a 2006 Chrysler 300. It is a very classy looking silver sedan. I really enjoy it, but the thing I love most about it is the fact that it's a company car, sooooo... I don't pay the payments, insurance or gas! We love having that car!

Got rid of my New Beetle (won it in a sweepstakes) and it was a real piece of junk quality-wise but an absolute ball to drive. I now drive a 2005 Mercury Montego and it is fabulous. Love the all wheel drive. Hubby drives a 2000 GMC Sierra P/U. Boys ages 18 and 22 drive a 97 Regal, wonderful and a 2002 Grand Am, too small but he loves it. We also have a 94 Pontiac Transsport van to keep around when we need a people-mover. It holds 7. It has been a jewel. The insurance is better now that we got rid of the VW. Rates are higher whenever you insure a foreign vehicle

A 2003 GMC Envoy....Love it! It is a metallic red color, and when it is clean, people still turn their heads as much as they did when it was brand new! Gas mileage is not so great, but we need the seven seats for carpools and for hauling stuff to/from college.

Right now a 1996 Bonneville, hate it, call it the snoozemobile! Kids outgrew my jeep and I really did not want a mini van so choices were limited! Will be passing it off to my son and getting my second jeep sometime this summer!

OK I can't believe I'll admit this...
My car broke down like 3 yrs ago and being a single mom I couldn't really afford to get a new one, but I asked my dad to look at it and see if it could be fixed. At the time he just let me use their extra minivan until he got around to looking at it....3 years later....I'm still driving my parents extra car...LOL I am on their insurance as a driver and my old broken car has been sold for parts a few months ago...SSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHH I'm not asking my parents if and when they need their car back...just keep driving it.....LOL really though I work from home and dont drive around that much. A lot of times if I am going far my mom comes along...or if she needs to go somewhere I will take her...Its works out fine

I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe. While I really like the size and hauliing capacity (kids and misc), I hate the gas mileage. (About 20 on the highway and 15 in city) We've been car shopping for almost 6 months! DH is insisting on a Cadillac CTS. It's not me and I don't want it!

I drive a 2005 Pontiac Vibe Tues, Wed and Thurs and on weekends. Mon and Fri I drive a 1995 GMC Jimmy. Hubby takes the Vibe to work (providing its not snowing) on Mon/Fri.

We went from a 2003 Sunfire to the Vibe after the baby came. The only benefit of the Vibe is it has 4 doors and the sunfire only had 2. There isn't much room in the back for two car seats plus an almost 13 year old when we all go away together.

We are on our way there. I so do not want to get one, but w/three kids already and working on the 4th, we're gonna need one. Plus the two older kids won't have to sit near each other since they fight (and there's 8 years between them ).

We share our two cars...my husband takes whichever is parked in the driveway in the morning, I get what was in the garage! We have a 1995 Suburban...it has over 200,000 miles on it, but it is a diesal so it has a lot of life left. It is a beast which I'd rather not drive! The other car is a 1997 Mercury Villager...it is okay but starting to show it's age. We'll probably replace it soon but man I hate to have a car payment again! It was given to us after the lease on my hubby's company car was up.
