lol i was the 1st to admit i sample a grape before i buy them well after all the replies i felt
bad so today while at walmart i asked the produce manager about tasting a grape he told me it was
fine and they even spray them down before they bag them so i feel better now. he also said you can ask for him and he will cut any fruit in half so you can see if its ripe or whatever then he added that you can even go to the deli and ask to sample the meat or cheese before you buy it but i would not do that i would need bread and mayo lol

I've got nice young people at Albertsons too, if you want or need something all you have to do is ask, they make grocery shopping a pleasure.

I've sampled deli meat before - they have so many different "flavored" turkey and stuff I wanted to try it. I didn't realize you could sample other fruits, thought...good to know!

Our store offers samples of all of the produce. If you want to taste an orange, you just ask. If you want just half of a head of cabbage, just ask... I do like to ask first. Don't know if other stores do this?

Wonder If I can sample bottles of wine too??

no wine at the grocery stores in oklahoma but i once went to a wine sample place in branson missouri
to bad i dont like the way it taste

I sample but I DID ask the manager of the store first and he said it was FINE! I also sample deli meat and cheese too

I sample wine as well Every Saturday the local liquor stores have a wine tasting. 4, 1 oz samples of 4 different wines. That way you KNOW before you buy if you like it

At Publix, they always offer a sample of deli meat and/or cheeses. If my kids are with me, they will sometimes offer two slices (one for each child).
