Dang! It's snowing in TN again!

Jeepers! I woke up about 5:45 a.m. and looked out to see if we had the "light flurries" happening that the weather folks predicted - and our cars, grass, roads are covered with at least an inch of the white stuff, and it's still coming down! Now for those of you in Montana, upstate New York, etc. who are ROFL at me getting excited about an inch of snow, you need to remember that it hardly ever sticks here! And this is the moist fluffy stuff you can make snowballs and snowmen out of! I am 12 miles east of Nashville, in Wilson County. Any other Tennesseans loving the February snow? Our schools were out this past Thursday and Friday and with high temps only forecast at 33 degrees, looks like the munchkins will be out tomorrow. Good thing dh and I went to Kroger yesterday and spent $100!

I have a feeling I will not be out tomorrow (we do have about 1-2 inches as well) esp with our state writing assessment on Tuesday.

DH woke me up at 4:00- he had went to take out the trash and was amazed at all the snow. Our cat is obsessed w/ snow now & he took her outside to look at it. She was a hoot swatting and trying to eat it when it would fall on her.

airbornearmywife - LOL about your cat. We have a mostly inside dog who has only seen snow twice - he sticks his tongue out trying to catch the flakes when we put him on the leash to go do his business. And the way he prances around on the snow covered grass - it is just hysterical.

I tried to get my son to run out and grab the paper for me, he didn't want to so I was going to do it... opened the door and wasn't about to go out with socks on! Second time I've been surprised by snow

Our snow had mostly all melted yesterday, just a little in the shade. But it is again covered this morning. YUCK!!!! My kids were out of school Thursday and Friday...please tell me the roads will clear and they'll be in school tomorrow, PLEASE!!! lol....
I think we're suppose to get some more "snow showers" Tuesday. I am so ready for warm weather.
But for those of you who like snow...enjoy!!
