American Idol - DS's friends was picked to go
He was the last one they picked from the San Antonio show - Jimmy McNeal.

DS had called us last week to tell us to watch - Jimmy couldn't tell them if he was picked or not, but ds said he had missed classes for several days.

kinda exciting in our house!

Lovely voice... He also had a gorgeous smile. It must have been very hard to be last! I hope that he does well. He's very talented.

He is very, very good. I think he can win the whole thing. I also liked him much better then Ruben.

When I heard him sing, I said to DH, "There's your next American Idol." He has a wonderful, soothing voice.

DS called us after the show last night and said that Jimmy is a very nice guy - very down to earth.

I hope he does well. I'll let y'all know if I pick up any 'scoops' on him or the show.

Oh, he was great! I really liked his voice and he seemed to have more personality than Rueben. Wonderful Smile! I can't wait for them to get to Hollywood!
