He seems to have amnesia about some things- Doesn't know Marisol has died. They did say possible brain damage due to lack of air but he didn't seem to be slow just looking for Marisol. Eric has to be back in good form cause his form makes watching the show enjoyable  I can do without Horatio's side interogations.
