What brews in your home pot?

I love coffee. I am currently going to order some Boca Java flavors, but also have up Green Mountain...thinking of doing the Monthly Flavored Coffee Tour. 2 bags a month of different flavors...just wondering what coffee brews at your house? and....

what kind of pot do you all have. I am currently on a Cuisinart Brew Central...I do love it, and recently bought a Cuisinart On Demand pot for work. Probably get one of these for home when mine gives out. I drink far too much coffee to get the K Cups although I am intrigued by the whole thing...even the Tassimo. I'm sure the kids would just love that. They could pick their own flavors..Maybe i'll splurge on one for them. They'd just love it, I'm sure.

I have had my trusty Bunn coffe maker for almost 12 years now. I love it! When I have had a few things break on it (sprayer and seal) I called Bunn for replacement parts and they sent them to me for free!!

I've got a Bunn that's over 14 years old and have had the same issues as chrystal. The sprayer and seal were replaced at no charge. And they said if the seal didn't work they'd sell me any of their new bunns for 1/2 price. And we only use Maxwell House 50% caffeine. I love that we can have a pot of coffee in about 3 minutes.

I have a BrewStation. I absolutely love it!

As far as the coffee goes, I don't drink flavors. I think flavors are for ice cream
My favorite coffee to brew at home is Kirkland (Costco brand) 100% Columbian. It's the only thing I'll buy for the house and its CHEAP too! LOL. I like Starbucks out...but home it has to be Kirkland.

I don't usually drink coffee unless it's flavored. Maybe once a month? I like Irish Creme.

We have a Black & Decker VersaBrew programmable coffee maker. DH has to be up at 3am so a programmable coffee maker is a must.

Currently we are drinking Safeway Select "Columbia Blend" (a light/medium light blend). We normally swap between the Columbian Blend, Hazelnut, and Caramel blends.

I have an old Mr. Coffee coffee maker that I've had for at least 10-15 years. I've never had any problems with it. It still works as well as it did when I first bought it. We buy gourmet coffee beans from a couple of small coffee shops here and grind it ourselves. We also own a pump driven espresso machine (I think it might be Mr. Coffee too) that we've had for at least 10 years, but it doesn't get used as much as the other coffee machine. We love the espresso machine, we just don't normally have time to mess with it.

Not a coffee drinker here, we don't even own a coffee maker. But with that said, I "LOVE" the smell of coffees. Love going in coffee stores or walking past them in the mall....

If my DH need s caffeine fix, he make a cup of instant.

Sigh! I just gave up coffee a week ago Sunday. I can tell you the hardest thing I've ever done was pour my flavored creamors down the drain!!!LOL!!

Anyhow, DH is still drinking it. We have the Cuisinart Filter Brew system and have for almost 5 years. Dh really likes it because of the automatic timer.

I buy whatever is on sale up here. Most of the time it's Folgers Half decaf. This past summer, my girlfriend went to Hawaii to visit her parents and brought back tons of coffee for me...what a treat but if I was buying I wouldn't get it too often since it's very expensive.

Val, Isn't that carousel awesome? I have that as well. I am not big on strong coffee, so i usually drink the kona or the green mountain nantucket blend they are both medium strength. I also loove english breakfast tea as well as earl grey and green tea with lemon. The coffee maker is great! Oh val btw amazon i noticed has the best prices for coffee. I buy 2 25 packs of kona blend there for 19.00 everywhere else wants close to 30.

I have a Gevalia coffee maker {FREE} but I NO longer purchase their products because of too many problems with them. As for my favorite coffee it varies depending on wheat I'm doing. If I'm home lately I've just been drinking Tasters choice. I haven't found a coffee that I want to try since I finished what I had from Gevalia & from them I got the Chocolate Raspberry, Mocha & A reakfast Blend.

I brew herbal teas only. Caffeine hurts me in many ways and I haven't had any in years. I love to brew the tea bags right in the hot water.

I do love the smell and flavor of coffee but don't like decaf and it's kind of like drinking nonalcoholic beer for me what's the point?

I also have the Gevalia coffee maker. I think it's so pretty! It seems to take a while to brew, but I'm in love with the sound, so I wait...

I LOVE Dunkin Donut's "Cinnamon Spice" ground coffee. I also love flavors like coconut, hazelnut, Irish Cream, Blueberry. But while many coffee companies claim to have great flavored coffees, most of the less expensive brands really don't have the best flavors.

The least expensive one that DOES come through for me is Eight O'Clock coffee...

Oh, now I can't wait 'til morning!

Am I the only one with an electric percolator? I love it! I honestly don't think the coffee tastes too much different from brewed coffee, except maybe a fuller but at the same time less bitter taste. I like it because it's smaller than a coffeepot and it doesn't have to stay on my countertop (although it usually does because I use it almost every day

As for what is IN my coffee pot, whatever is on sale! Recently at a CoffeeBeanery, they had their Christmas coffees BOGO, so that's what I've got. Not the freshest coffee in the world, but if I want that, I go to Orinoco, my now favorite coffee shop (coffee comes direct from South America, I think within days)

You have to be kidding me?!?!?!?! I just threw out my 2 year old bunn because the on/off switch broke. I loved my bunn and miss it so much. I wish I would have had the brain and called bunn to see what they could do. I spent a ton of money on that machine. Now I am using some stupid Gevalia free coffee pot that takes forever to make coffee that I hardly ever drink coffee at home anymore. I have to go and chase down the trash man..........

AMAZON is the best for the coffee I've been mostly buying there also!! I also really like the Timothy's Canarino Lemon Beverage!! Occasionally I get some coffee off ebay, its costs a bit more, but then I can get a couple of each of the new flavors or ones I haven't tasted yet!!

Alright. I buckled. After posting the original question I remembered that I had a $100. Amex gift card burning a hole in my purse since Christmas. So I buckled and became coffee crazed. I bought the B70 Platinum Keurig coffeemaker http://www.keurig.com/b70.asp and also bought the My KCup and then bought some Kcups. THEN because I swore I was buying the new toy for the family who doesn't always drink the whole pot and I like to drink more than one cup at a time..I went to Green Mountain and bought a bag of Kenyan AA to try, as I heard it was good, and also went to Boca Java website cause I heard they have delicious flavors and bought a few of their flavors...

OT..please note that I am a F/T working mom, who is home from work lately cause of some medical issues, and have TPN infusion 24/7...better get back to work soon or DH will go broke!!! Been scoping around shopping online lately tooooo much. It's just too easy. LOL

We don't ever make coffee at home - DH doesn't like coffee and I only drink it once in a while. We do have a coffee pot though. I bought the cheapest one I could find at Target - I think it was about $7. I use it to brew tea in for sweet tea, and it does the job perfectly.

Talking

OMG I just received my Gevalia coffee maker from ebay. A friend used this machine and it seems slower than others, as someone mentioned, but the coffee tastes so much better when done. Can someone please tell me though...for a normal cup of coffee, not too strong, but not too weak...how much water per how much coffee? Is it the same for all brands and coffee makers. My DH usually makes the coffee, but it is cold and snowy outside and I want some now!!!
