African Webcam~Wild Animals~Cool!!!

This is a live webcam in Africa. Right now it's pretty quiet except for the chirping of night animals. My friends have been watching it for days and they have seen all kinds of animals.
Some people are having problems with a blank screen just be patient.

They also have a Grizzly Bear Cam. I think those bears are still hibernating because I've been checking them since Jan and have NEVER seem them awake. I've seen them move, but never move around......lol

The bears are hibernating but they do get up and move around. They look like they are sleepwalking when they do it. We do this all day at work!!

I checked this site before supper and nothing was moving but I swear, if you sat and listened to it a little while you could hear someone snoring. I figured since you could also hear what sounded like a generator running and what appeared to have a spot light on the pond that maybe there was an attendant nearby. It said the time there was 12:30 am

It is almost 6 AM there now. I've enjoyed watching it go from dark to light. I'm also enjoying listening to the sounds. I checked in on the bears as well- they are still sleeping.

I decided to check the site before going to bed. When the site finally connected there was a beautiful young zebra literally staring back at me. Anyone else see it? It was 8:05 there. The camera moved around for a few minutes and then focused on a group of zebras. It is now focused on the water hole where a group of small deer-like animals (maybe Gazelles) are drinking. Too cool! I'm addicted to this site already.

Thanks again, OP!

It's 3:03 p.m. there right now and although I can hear lots of birds chirping in the background, the view is blurred - there must be something in the way.

The grizzly bears are still sleeping, although one of them just moved into a more comfortable position.

It's 5:55 p.m. there now and there are quite a few primates that the camera is following.

I am jealous all I have seen so far is a hippo in the water and it was night so I dorkily thought it was a reflection of an owl in the tree.

I saw a ton of animals last night between 10 and 1 my time (which is 6 to 9 AM their time). I think the animals get up and then head to the watering hole. I really haven't seen anything when it is daytime here and nightime there. Looks like there is a nice lodge there.

I remember when this was posted before.
I showed my family this and they thought it was really neat.
It is 6:03am there right now and the sounds are amazing.
My daughter asked if I would turn the sound up so that she could go to sleep with it in the background.
She thought it was relaxing.

After 48 minutes I see how this could/can be addicting to watch. I just know as soon as I turn it off there someone is going to come to the water hole esp. since it is 640am there.
There sounds like there is someone banging a pot (like washing it) in the background.

I finally saw something -- every time I go to this site, I just see a watering hole. Right now (Saturday 9:19 a.m. EST) there is a zebra. It is so pretty.

There are TONS of live cams out there if you just do a search for them. I love the panda cams, both at the National Zoo in Washington DC & San Diego Zoo. You can watch Times Square, beaches, London, puppies, kittens, hummingbirds. You name it, you can find a web cam of it.

I started watching Saturday. Saw tons of animals. Zebra, Giraffe, Elephant, Baboon - can't remember what else.

Yesterday the only thing I saw besides big birds were 2 Giraffe. This morning absolutely nothing.

Anyone having any better luck? If so, what time are you watching?

I've watched from about 7:00 - 10:00pm Pacific Time and from about 4:00am until it's dark there.

Guess it's the luck of the draw.

I've been watching on and off for several days and the only thing I could see for sure was the back end of a zebra. I've seen other animals at night time running around....but they were tiny and I couldn't tell what they were. Of course...birds too. I love the nature sounds though....the birds and wind.

The bird flew away.

Last night was great. A large herd of zebras and a large herd of buffalo at the same time. At times, the zebra were very playful.

The zebra and buffalo are back right now. But looks like they're too far away to get a camera close-up.

Just had a large herd of zebra right up close. I guess the camera zooms on to anything tha moves. It kept showing the zebras reflection in the water... I wanted to see them! It did get some good very close up view. At one point as they were walking off one zebra kicked another in the face. I guess he was following too close.

You know.. I can hear all kinds of animals, but I think they know when I'm watching and stand directly beneath the camera and make noise just to taunt me.
