anyone else state tax refund late??

I will never again waste the money to efile and get direct deposited my state refund! It so far has taken way longer than the federal and is not worth it!! I keep checking the website and it just says it is received and being processed, then "please do not access this site again for a week!"
I know that federal is usually deposited on Fridays generally, anyone know what days STATE is generally deposited??

I met with our CPA on 2/5 (I had all my info together==he just put in the figures), they were ready to be picked up on 2/7, we signed them on 2/8 and returned his copy that day. Our state (VA) direct deposited into our checking account today and the federal is due to direct deposit tonight at midnight!!!

I was thrilled with the turn around time this year!

I completely agree..I can't believe how long state is taking this year?! I took looked it up online and get the exact same message as you. I don't know when they update it because it only says it is current as of last week.

I did our state taxes on 2/05/2007. I efiled directly through our states website and the money was direct deposited on 2/09/2007. Only took 5 days to have it back. It has never taken me any longer then 5 days to get it.

looks like it is a NY thing then, as luvmy2girlygirls is from same area as me! I am NOT impressed. I believe for NY this is the first year you could efile your state refund. It says takes 8-15 days and ours has bee 25 days so far.

Thanks for the information! I just finished doing my taxes with my Dad and was going to e-file for the first time. Sounds like I might as well go ahead and mail them!

Did ours via webturbo tax. for Massachusetts, came REAL quick... And federal came a week (or 2) later... On friday, yes... and spent already

NY here also....

I used turbo tax and received my Federal refund already. I am still waiting for the State!!!!

I have used them before and it has never taken this long

Edited to add: How funny is this......I haven't checked yet today, so after posting my reply I figured what the heck let me go check my online account. Well, it has been deposited!!!!
