I don't think they've actually said the particular night he's going to be on. I tried to find it online by googling and by going to AI website but no dates showed up.

Hey, my 22 year old daughter-in-law LOVES Bon Jovi! She's got me hooked on him!

I'm sorry forgive me for saying this but Bon Jovi is a band not a "He" or a "Him"... Jon Bon Jovi however is a he or him and a sexy one at that. Us diehards at the various Bon Jovi boards get a bit testy when Bon Jovi is referred to as a he or him and not a band and Jon is not referred to as Jon or Jon Bon Jovi.

Nothing has come across from any of the official Bon Jovi Mailing lists and I let my Backstage membership expire so I cant log into the forums to see if anything is mentioned there,

He is supposedly going to be a guest judge at NJ auditions for Idol this year.

According to all the websites news and otherwise running anything on who is coming to AI they are saying "The dates have not bee announced for the guest stars to appear" So I guess we can take that with a grain of salt and keep our eyes on the official webpages and newsletters.

They announced last night on AI that Bon Jovi would appear 'this season'.

My 12yo son is a huge fan as well. WE hope to do a concert if/when they ever are in our area... Unfortunately, we missed them when they came to Phoenix.

Both of us got really excited when it was announced last night but then they didn't give dates.

Well, we KNOW Bon Jovi is a band! But the Bon Jovi we are referring to is the Jon Bon Jovi who does the singing. As per AI Thursday night, it was announced that Bon Jovi would be one of the performers. I'm assuming Jon Bon Jovi will be instructing the singers just like Rod Stewart, Kenny Rogers, etc. did last season.

I love Bon Jovi myself and dragged my husband to the concerts!! Even in 100 degree weather last summer at Giant's stadium! I did a search and they have no dates for them yet, but here is what I did find:
Gwen Stefani - March 28th
Jennifer Lopez - April 11th
Others also performing are:
Diana Ross, Barry Gibb, Martina McBride, Lula & Peter Noone (Herman Hermit's) along with our Bon Jovi guys

I am a huge fan of Bon Jovi I normally don't watch American Idol but I guess from now on I will so I can catch the show with Jon.

Can we truly trust Wikipedia? After the big brouha-ha-ha where it said that the Comedian Sinbad had died of a heart attack I would be leary to trust anything posted there.

Los Angeles, CA (AHN) - Bon Jovi will soon take a trip down the "Lost Highway." The band are set to release their ninth album, a follow up to 2005's "Have A Nice Day," on June 19.

One of the songs, the title track to the record, can already be heard on the movie soundtrack to "Wild Hogs."

The album is being produced by Dan Huff who has collaborated with Keith Urban and Rascal Flatts in the past.

Prior to its release date, the band will make several television appearances, including the CMT Awards on April 16 and "American Idol" on May 2.

Their first single, "(You Want To) Make A Memory," will hit radio stations on Tuesday, March 20.

Bon Jovi are also set to be one of the performers at this year's much anticipated Live Earth concert event on July 7. Other artists joining the band in spreading awareness to global warming include Spanish rock sensation Mana and rapper Pharrell.

In 2006, lead singer Jon Bon Jovi became the first ambassador to Habitat for Humanity.

Over the years, the band have won several VH1 and MTV Music awards. They were most recently awarded with a 2007 Grammy award for "Who Says You Can't Go Home" - Best Country Collaboration.
