What are some of your favorite books?

I need recommendations for 2 weeks worth of books for vacation in florida!

What have you read lately that is good? I like just about everything except cheesy romance.

I just got the newest Sophie Kinsella book, Shopaholic and Baby. I haven't read it yet, but I have read all the other shopaholic books and they are HILARIOUS! Marley and Me is also a great book, you'll get teary-eyed at the end but definately worth reading. I'm also reading (and forgive me for forgetting the authors name ) Simply Sexy. The other 2 books in the series are Sinfully Sexy and Suddenly Sexy. Really funny reading.

I also love the Shop-a-holic series. I just finished "Hissy Fit" by Mary Kay Andrews and loved it. I read the "Yada Yada Prayer Group" series and love it too.

The Stephanie Plum series is great. Evanovich is a fun writer
The Odd Series by Dean Koontz was really good.

I am currently reading The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks and I really love it. I don't like love stories, but I got this book because it has a Great Dane in it. I actually cannot put this book down. If you like dog stories try Amazing Gracie, kind of a biography, but it may make you laugh and cry at the same time.

Nicholas Sparks, Janet Evanovich (love the stephanie plum series), James Patterson, & John Grisham are my favorite authors. I'm currently reading a book by Nora Roberts and it's really good too. I can't narrow it to just one author or book

I agree: Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. Laugh out loud, mindless fun.
