What's on Tap for the weekend?

My husband has a " date" tonite, so he'll be gone. I plan to blog, and eat an entire frozen pizza!

Tomorrow we have to mow the lawn, pull weeds, and pressure wash the driveway, and DD and Dh have soccer at 2.

Tomorrow night I am going to dinner and a movie with my friend.

Sunday we are going to Disney World!!

What about you?

Mow the lawn....You are so lucky. I hate to mow but I would give my right arm to mow right now.

We are doing nothing. Sign kids up for baseball, study, read, clean.

Have a good weekend all

Wow....mowing the lawn. I will be digging out from the 12 inches of snow we are getting! I am really looking forward to summer. Summer in Maine is wonderful!
As for this weekend, I am hosting a *rob your neighbor* party tomorrow night. Its a really fun girls night out. Its a dice game that involves fun gifts, good friends, good food, good beverages and usually a complaint or two about the men in our lives! It will be the last rob party before my daughter and her new husband move to Florida! I am really looking forward to it!!!!

Tonight I am alone with kids. Oh joy. It's bath night for them. Saturday dd has swimming and a Brownie field trip. Kroger is super doubling so me and the little guy are going shopping. Sunday I'm running away from home. Four days alone with the kids stinks. Dh can watch them while I go to Kroger for one last trip.

* Rob your neighbor* parties are so much fun! You start by inviting the woman in your life that are special. Everyone brings whatever they want to drink and usually something really fattening to eat! You also bring three wrapped gifts (usually valued at $4-$5 each). Each player has two dice. You start the first round by each person rolling the dice, if you roll a *7*, you pick a gift from the middle of the table, if you roll doubles....you get to roll again. You also can roll again after you get a *7* and you keep rolling as long as you get a *7* and picking a gift. Once you roll a number other than a *7*...it moves on to the next person. Once all the gift are gone out of the middle of the table, you take a break and eat and drink. Then you set a time for 20 minutes and you do the same thing all over again, only this time, you *rob* your neighbor by stealing one of their wrapped gifts. When the timer goes off, you open whats in front of you (don't get too comfortable with your gifts). You take another food/drink break and then set the timer for the final round. This time you know what the gifts are because you unwrapped them at the end of round two, so you *rob* your neighbor of the gifts you want. When the timer goes off....you either go home with some nice gifts, or you go home with the memory of a great night with the ladies. We usually try to include a few gag gifts just for fun. We had one package of really ugly stationary that made it to at least four years of rob parties. Its really a fun time. Start a new tradition with your friends....

That sounds like an AWESOME time! I wish I had more friends near me. All except for one of my best girlfriends live 3+ hours away (3 in other states!) Too bad I live in a snotty neighborhood, or I could invite my neighbors.

Once I get some new friends... I am totally doing this!!

DS has an Odessey of the Mind competition and has to be at the competition site at 8:00 am so we have to leave at 7:15 and we'll be there til around 1:00 or so. Then we'll go out for lunch and chill the rest of the day. Sunday I'll probably make brownies for the new neighbors moving in across the street and go to the gym while DH plays with the kids

There is a basketball game at 3pm and besides church Sunday we have no plans.
I will insist that my daughter start learning her spelling words since she has 2 sports right now and school work comes before them!!
Since my husband is home I would like to get the inside of the house clean with his help.
YAHOO~seems that it is just another fun filled weekend!!

Another fun filled weekend of doing laundry and the cleaning I can't get to during the week. Maybe we'll take a break and head to the mall for a couple hours. DD & DS have been bugging us to go to the Renaissance Festival so we'll probably to that tomrorrow.

We went out to our favorite, usual Friday night authentic Mexican restaurant. Yummmm, it's always good. Then we went to buy tickets for the afternoon showing of Wild Hogs. Can't wait to see it!! The previews look hilarious. Don't forget about the lunar eclipse tonight. We'll be watching that just as soon as the movie is over. Sunday is church and chilling out.

I wish we had something to do. We are trying not to spend money so that sort of limits the possibilities. I am catching up on some Ebaying and DH is taking a nap. The kids are having fun playing Legos and just hanging around the house relaxing. And they want to rearrange their rooms, so we might do more of that later too.

My Dad might come over tomorrow. There's always cleaning to do and organizing, so I'm hardly ever bored.

We are also trying not to spend too much money. Friday night I just put a couple of auctions up on Ebay, read a book and was on the computer. Today we went to Yappie Days which is a local thing for dogs and dog owners, they have different stores and vendors out there selling stuff and giving away free samples of dog food, treats, dog tooth brushes, bandanas and with lots of door prizes. We won a door prize while we were there, a Cesar Milan DVD and a leash and collar. We also came away with 2 big bags of freebies for our dogs. I am hoping to win the years supply of free dog food!
