help me find a name for my baby!

Hi everyone, I am 36 weeks pregnant with my fourth boy and I am out of boys names, or I keep changing my mind, and I am running out of time, he will be here before we know it... My other 3 boys names/ages are Anthony Geatano 17, Nicholas Saverio 14, Michael Jonathan 21 months... I have a few ideas... Zachary Sean, or Sean Damon... any ideas or help would be great.. thanks mary~

Looks like you have an Italian theme so far- how about Pietro, Paolo, Dario, Gianni, Sal, Blaze (Biase)? I used to be stationed at Griffiss AFB YEARS ago- these were fairly common names of some of my Italian friends- they were ethnic without being too different. I think Blaze's real name was Biase with an accent over the e. Good Luck

I like that you have "classic" names..

How about Christopher, Timothy, or Alexander? It seems that these are getting less and less common, but I still prefer them to most of the "new" names out there.

Stay away from: Jaden, Caden, Aiden, Ethan, Nathan and Braden. They all sound the same and there are lots and lots and lots of them. (We learned this the hard way..)

What about Dominick Sean

All though I still like Colin.. I would have to smack someone for calling him CO-Lin. LOL ~JK~

I have a friend that was going to name her son Aaron (A-ron). I quicking talked her out of that. Around here that name is Air-run... She would be correcting people all the time. She instead named him Riley. He looks like a Riley!

I like names that have some sort of meaning. Both of my boys have a first and middle name from both sidesof the family tree (grandpa and great-grandpa). We have also looked back on the family tree and can see various relatives with the same names(or variations of them) going back hundreds of years. Have you checked the family tree?

For me (the youngest of 5 kids), my parents were also out of ideas. My parents came up with options and let the older kids vote.

Just thought to clarify that noone to date has called him Fletcher the letcher or letch. He did take it upon himself to use the nickname Fletchulence for his xbox live persona after one of his cousins called him flatchulence...

To make name suggestions, I think it helps to have the surname. They kinda have to go together.

Not Italian names (they are Irish), but still cute . . .

Ian Christopher
Rory Michael

They are my brothers. I don't want to reveal my son's name . . . We also considered:

Fisher Thomas
Asher Thomas
Gabriel Thomas

Or just plain Thomas is a good name. I don't like the nickname Tom, but you can always be traditional and just call him by his full name.

Douglas, Cole, Robert, Chad.
I just thought of these and I do not have a boy, but I do know when I did not know what I was going to have it was either going to be Mary-Margaret Claire or Hunter Douglas.
(I cannot stand the name Hunter now since we knew a couple who had a Hunter and ARG~what a brat.)

I personally love the name Riley for a little boy....(hence the name of my 6 year old)...but I think Ryder is also quite unique! My girlfriend loved the name Riley and asked if I would mind if she named her new baby Riley also since I already had a son named Riley. Of course, I was honored.....I don't lay any kinda claim on that name..ha ha! But...in the mean time I heard the name Ryder and shared it with her and at the last minute she decided to name him Ryder instead. I love that name!!!

Just remeber this baby will have to live with this for a long time. DON'T do to him what Julia Roberts did to her little boy---How would you like to go through your life getting picked on because your name is Phineas?

If we had a boy we were going to use Kaleb Isaiah but I had an eptopic and they had to take it at 10 weeks.

My boys names are Kenneth John, Mark James and Samuel Jackson. I really wanted to name one of them Noah but DH hated it.

After registering literally hundreds of kids for soccer I have found a trend in names, Jacob, Aiden, Tyler, Trevor, Justin and Alex are all very popular around here.

You 've all got some great names here!

I have a Keaton Gregory and a Dagan Joshua (Dj)

names I also considered
Tayden, Andrew, Liam, Blane,Zade, Mazin
at least you have a nice last name. A lto of different names will go with it smoothly.

My son is Donovan Adrian.
I wanted a different name because I have a very common name. I had it narrowed down to Justin or Donovan. Glad I did not pick Justin since it became VERY popular after that. I love Donovan. It's just rare enough that he is usually the only one. It also suits him perfectly!! Good luck with picking a name!!

Maybe he likes cartoons - Huckleberry Hound, or old classics - Huckleberry Fin? It's crazy what some people name their kids. LOL I just don't understand how one parent gets the other parent to go along with naming their child something crazy like that.

FYI, Jason Lee from My Name is Earl named his son Pilot Inspektor.

Don't name your son Justin or Caleb they are way to many of them. My oldest son Justin went by his last name in school because there was so many Justin's. Now my youngest son has had another child name Caleb in his class since first grade. And there are two of them in scouts. He can't go by Caleb S. because the other Caleb's last name starts with and S also. We tried to give our children names that we thought were not that popular out of four only one child a girl named Laurel is the only one. But now I'm starting to hear it more and more. How about Spencer?

My favorite name in the world is Beau pronounced BO and I named my 2nd son that. Every now and then someone (usually a nurse or receptionist at a new office) will call him Bea or Bear or Bean or prounounce it like the beginning of the word beautiful. I just think in my mind, "OK, lady, here's your sign". My wonderful Beau is now 18, 6'3, 225 and he is beautiful.
Something you really need to think about is how many times over the rest of your life you are going to be saying that name. It needs to roll easily off the tongue.

My sons are Timothy Scott and Todd Alexander...Neither of which are very common...There are no Todd's in his elementary school...only two or three other Tim's in the whole high school!...Todd was due on St. Patty's Day so he was going to be Sean Patrick, but he came a few days later. I also like the names Seth and Travis...Whatever you decide, good luck! ~Lisa
