I miss AI last season when Taylor won...I loved him right away and knew he was going to win if I had anything to do with it, lol ....I had never voted for anyone before like I voted him..But this year I am really disapointed in most of the contestants no one has "grabbed me", Blake is pretty good, Chris Sligh(and he's even from my town) is good. The girls Belinda and Lakisha are good but to me no one has the "wow factor" what do you all think?

personally me I'm ABOUT SICK TO DEATH OF HIM AND HIS *GRANNY*, I live just down the road from his granny and I'm sick to death of hearing about him. I mean come on he isn't the 1st AI to win from Alabama and I'm sure he will not be the last ( not counting this season's AI winner ), Let me just put it this way., in Gulf shores his *Granny* was the GRAND master Mardi Gras ( GAG ME ). I wasn't impressed by her doing her little *show* for all the snowbirds here. she was waving like she had won the Miss American Contest, tossing her 1 hard candy at a time to the folks.( Puke)... At Lulu's they were holding a Hicks Mardi Gras thing ...I was never so glad for a concert to be over than his. The news really played it up on him. his concert sold out in 2 hrs Big Whoopee. now if it sold out in 15 mins I might** thats a small might* be impressed over that. Sorry but this whole Hicks deal has really placed a sour taste in my mouth for him. They are acting as if NO ONE in the world has ever became a famous singer from Alabama. It might be a little different if I didn't live so close to all this , but I live in Foley, Just 10 mins form his *Granny's* home town and I'm personally sick to death of it all. Lets move on !

Now for this years AI, I'm not doing any jumping Esp for the men, It's as bad as they come so far.I do however Like Sunshine and Chris. for the ladies. I really really like Melinda Doolittle. I think it will come down to Chris and Melinda for the finals. I think they both are really great singers. It also helps they both have had singing in their past. they both sound really good.

My husband and I rooted for Taylor from the first night we saw him. He was different and had personality and an original sound. We voted as many times as we could get through and my husband has NEVER even watched a reality/talent show with me. Taylor just has that something that makes him stand out.

And noone this year can compare to last year's talent. Very dissappointing assortment. Maybe in the next several shows they'll show some originality.

I myself LOVED Taylor last year and this year the guys are not the greatest i think it will come down to Belinda and Lakisha they are the best in my opinion by far last nites performance by Belinda was as in the words of Randy Jackson THE BOMB!!!!!

I like Taylor last year, but I am a big Chris Daughtry fan. In fact, he'll be in my town in a couple of weeks to do a free concert! I can't wait!

I love TAYLOR! If those of you who didn't watch AI last you, you have no idea what we're talking about when we say this year is horrible!! I think all the finalists (final 12) last year had personality and just something 'special' about them. That was definitely the best year. They all could sing.

I've bought Taylor, Kellie and Katharine's CDs and the AI CD with the final 12 on it. They're all great! Listening to Kellie right now.

I agree, which I dont care for hicks, I will give him credit he could sing, it's just i'm really sick of hearing so much about him, you have no idea what its like living so close to his granny and all the stuff they are drumming up on him, it's like he's some kind of darn hero that won a major war . ekkk,

Last year really ROCKED !!!, This year has been a rude awaking to me. I really dont see how some of them made it this far. and still there

One week they are soooo good next week it's like listening to some kind of hurt cat screaming !!

Last week the men really did awesome( for the most part anyway ) this week they just didnt impress me too much. Same with the ladies. it's like they *Lose* it from 1 week to the next. maybe they just havnt gotten the *Kick in gear mold yet * However, I think Melinda has done 1 awesome job each week, I really feel she will made the final. Chris is awesome also. Personally me I think it will come down to these 2. Or at least I hope so.

Major Taylor fan here....I couldn't stay away from Idol last year, this year I could care less.

I liked Taylor from day one last year. He has his own way of doing things and he is what seems like a "people person". I watched every time it came on faithfully. I remember rooting for him and my sister thought I was crazy. I also like Chris Doughtry(sp) he was nice to look at and also could sing.
I remember the first time Taylor did that move/ dance as he called it I fell out laughing I thought at first he was having a seizor.

As far as this year....I watched the auditions and that was it...I have not watched it again. I just don't think that anyone they have right now is a strong singer as they have had in the past.

I love Chris, too! My and my DD are going to this concert, too! We live about 35-45 minutes away and can't wait! As soon as we heard about it on 107.5, we made plans to go! I'm excited!!!
