I did once-we were near the Poconos/in a little town called Effort. Hated every minute of it....
DH is from Danville-about an hour west of Harrisburg I believe.

Danville is about an hour 15 mins from me (driving over the speed limit LOL). I used to go to a reproductive endocrinologist at Geisinger there.

too funny-my FIL and MIL both worked at Geisinger for over 20yrs. They moved to Hershey and worked there til retirement.

That's hysterical! Effort is not far from me. I didn't realize it was actually even a town. Well, they do have the diner. LOL

well, actually I fibbed a bit-we rented a house at the time and our address on the lease was listed as being located "near the Village of Effort." As far as the diner-come essa! We did go there occasionally, the food was pretty good at times, but it's not like we had a lot of selection elsewhere.
