Tonight was the big night-held my breath all week, hoping Patrick would be feeling well enough to go. Was so happy to see him get in that limo and leave! There were 14 kids in their group-and they all chipped in for a big stretch Hummer limo-too cool. Patrick's date came over to take pics at our house, then we all went to another friend's house, where all the kids were going to meet. They all looked so beautiful-gorgeous gowns, hair, nails-the whole nine yards-I never looked liked that at my dances! The boys all really looked good too, and were just as excited as the girls. They were going out for a really nice dinner, then off to the dance. After that, a few of them-yes, boys and girls (no flames please as there will be lots of supervision!) are coming over to our house to spend the night. They went shopping for snacks last night, and I made a few this eve. Hoping I can get some sleep tonight! And I'm hoping they have an awesome time-a little drama all week w/ a couple of them, but they all seemed to be on their best behaviour this eve.

What fun! What's a "ring dance"?

it's the Jr. prom-for the 11th grade-they will get their class rings tonight.

Well!! How cool is that? I've never heard of that.

My dd stay by a friend's house after their regimental ball. It was boys and girls. The watched movies the rest of the night. They stay at the secretary of the school's house. They had fun.

Where was the dance held? Was it at the school, or a place around town? Just wondering how they do things here. DS is only a freshman, but just wondering. Thanks......Jen
