Just curious.
I don't like black pepper, especially when used in excessive moderation. I often see people just 'coat' their food with it. Since I don't like it and quite honestly have never seen anyone else who doesn't like it, I was just wondering how most of you feel about it? Do you like, love, or hate black pepper?

Funny, I know.....but I would like to see if there is anyone else besides me. LOL

I think I am almost addicted to the way it makes my lips feel.

I cover my eggs, steak and chicken in BP, too!

I love black pepper, too. It's especially good on cole slaw, salads, eggs, burgers, steaks, soups... You name it, I'll probably put black pepper on it. I'm not a big fan of salt though.

Years ago, when I was an ER nurse, we went to lunch with a resident doctor from some country in Africa. She sat down with her lunch, took the top off the pepper shaker and poured the WHOLE THING on her food!!!! She said out food was too bland.

I put pepper on a few things (eggs especially) and use fresh ground in cooking, but NEVER would use that much!

I hate black pepper! I wont touch it once the food hits the table. A tiny bit for tatse while cooking and that is it.

I like it. I use it in cooking and sometimes put it on my food. I don't like green peppers, red or yellow though. I will eat jalepenos and hot peppers though.

I never used to like pepper until I found out my grandma used white pepper in her homemade macaroni & cheese & for some crazy reason the older I get the more I seem to use pepper & love to use a combination of black & cayenne pepper in most of my cooking

I love it! Since we use very little salt I think I substitute freshly ground pepper!

I dislike it- the one thing I do put it on is a tiny sprinkle on Mac n cheese.

DH loves black pepper and puts it on most of his meals.

I like black pepper -especially on......cottage cheese!

I love fresh ground pepper on my salads!!!! There is nothing like the taste. It just compliments the salad so well!

I ADORE black pepper! I often say I could give up salt for life as long as I have my pepper. Healthier than salt on everything, also.

I love it. I use that and other spices instead of salt.

I always hated it as a kid, but the older I get the more I can tolerate it...probably because my taste buds are getting old and need a little zing!

Like it and usually use it on almost anything. Especially for french fries, I mix it with the catsup to cut the acid.
