At the very end, [the producers] showed it being very close. [But] it wasn't too close in actuality, it was about 10-15 minutes [between when Charla Baklayan Faddoul and Mirna Hindoyan checked in at the Pit Stop amd we did].
I knew it! I told Scott that there was no way it was close, because Rob and Amber weren't even running.

The other thing I found interesting:

"You know, we ran into some bad luck when we came out of the airport. We didn't have a cab. The reason we didn't have a cab was because our camera guy got held up and had to go through customs -- which is a completely random thing that all the teams have to deal with -- so that was just bad luck..."

Wow-- so they get punished because of their camera guy? Sad.

Thanks, that was a really good interview. I really like them as a couple, they've turned their 15 minutes of reality fame into much more. I especially enjoyed watching the show they had on Fox Reality when he was in Vegas trying to become a pro poker player.

Thanks for posting this. Interesting article. It is a bad break that they could have lost due to their cameraman having to go through customs. they're probably warned beforehand that situations like this may arise.

I didn't know anything about their reality show. When was this on?

I liked the "against the odds"show too. I was sorry to see it have to end because they went on all-stars. I'm anxious to hear about this new show they are going to do. whatever it might be.

What I didn't like about Against the Odds is that atleast the first episode and all the drama had to be staged. Obviously if they had cameras in their house they already knew they were doing this show so the decision to go to Vegas had been made.

Well, all of these reality shows have staged areas if not most of the show itself.

Survivor cast members have said that they have to do things over again if he cameras didn't catch something right, they say tribal council takes HOURS to shoot.

My sis was on Extreme Makeover and I can tell you LOTS of her story was staged; true, but staged for the cameras. "Reality" is not necessarily REALITY.
