Isn't it funny that the results for voting on American Idol are not like this? What is Sanjaya still doing there? Well I know the obvious but why are people trying to ruin something that is fun for others by voting for Sanjaya? Are people really that miserable that they cannot let people enjoy something that they may not enjoy. Really people are spending their time trying to ruin Idol? Why? Here are the results that I found on yahoo. I think they are pretty much intact with what has happened thus far don't you?

The weekly poll on AOL yesterday had him rated at #5 out of 12

Sanjaya probably should not even be in the top 12 but since this is the first year that I have watched, I didn't realize that the top 12 are the ones who tour, etc. It should probably have been Haley and Sanjaya that left last week. I was sad to see Sundance and Sabrina go in their place. They really would be doing great on the *BIG* stage. Both are such awesome singers.

This is my first year of watching too and so far I've voted everytime for the same two....Lakeiska and Melinda. I think they have what it takes.

I was stunned last night when Brandon went home. A backup singer and Sanjaya....when they told Phil he was safe, I knew it was Brandon....poor thing....he was a lot better than Sanjaya

But Sanjaya didn't forget the words to his song. I have been watching AI for the past 4 seasons and I don't recall any of the final 12 forgetting the words in any show, let alone 3 contestants in one show. Maybe they need to spend less time on wardrobe and hair/makeup and more time on practicing!!

That being said, I would never be able to do what they are doing. I'd be one of the "best of the worst" auditions!!

Also, it's the top 10 who tour. I went to the "Idols Live" concert when it came to my town last summer and it was so much fun. I went with 7 of my girlfriends and we waited outside the back of the arena to see if we could catch a glimpse of them on their way out. So silly.

Actually, forgetting the words has been common at this point in the game. I've been to tapings 3 years in a row and every time we went, somebody forgot a part of their words that night. It's easy to forget that it happens because like i said, it's usually this early in the game.

Sanjayi should not even be there, his sister was better than him

This year's American Idol is so boring. No one has a personality or the "wow factor".

Melinda and Lakisha both have the wow factor for me.

I truly do not understand the Sunjaya thing. I expected him to be dropped week #1. But, I have to give his parents credit. He does have great ego strength for a child of 17. I am talentless and I would have been CRUSHED at 17 to be publically criticized. He seems to take it all in stride. I find that amazing.
