I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm dying to see the new and improved MyCoupons site! What do you think the new site will look like? New color scheme? New layout? New Features?

So far...not impressed. The words in posts are so small looking now. Is there some way to change that? I tried changing the text size (on my computer), but that didn't change the word size on the boards at all. Also, I find the pages are much slower to load now.

Yup, not friendly to older eyes at all....and may be just my imagination, but seems to take forever to load with DSL.

Another problem I just discovered:

When I edited my post and hit save, the view didn't change. It remained in edit mode and made me think nothing had changed. It was only after I hit new posts, then clicked on my edited post, that I saw the change had occurred.

I am sure it will take the usual 'tweaking" it up!

They definatly need to enlarge the print size .

I just tried to make this post a larger size and it isn't working for me.

This font is too small for me. LOL

As Grannyshirl pointed out, we are doing some tweaking. Your comments and suggestions are appreciated.

The print is too small. I think it also needs something to "personalize" it. Like a nice picture on the top of a scene or something. I have seen that on other boards.

The font size is way to small (as you are well aware of) and it is taking to long to load with my dsl. Sorry not a happy camper here.

In Internet Explorer,go to Tools,Internet Options,Appearance at bottom,Click Accessibility,check Ignore font sizes specified on webpages,click OK.Now all your font sizes at websites will be the size YOU want and not theirs. I love this tip.Try it, it works.
The new site looks about the same to me only verrrrrrry sloooooooow to load.

Also I have an avatar question- I notice the mcleaders have personalized avatars- is this something we will get to do? I also notice now that some peoples avatars say "xxxxx avatar" with just their name instead of a pic.

Nobodys avatars are showing up for me.All pictures are X'd out.

Pages are loading VERY slow for me on this old dinosaur of a computer.

It all takes time and it was only down for a short time to switch. They could have kept us off longer while they worked on it.
I am happy to give them a chance.

I have been here a long and seen changes before and it does get fixed. Please be patient and I bet it will get better.

Changing the settings works for the font sizes. However, it makes the changes on the computer not just this site. So I have to make the changes when I come to this site. Major pain.....hopefully the font size will be addressed. I thought there used to be a setting on this board to change the font. Maybe I'm dreaming or perhaps it was many board changes ago.

The font size can be changed by clicking on "Sizes" then scrolling down
until you reach the font size numbers. I clicked on "4" and this is how it
looks. Now, if I can just figure out how to "log off" I will be very happy!

This site is waaaaaaaaaaaaay too slow now.I can't do anything else while the Mycoupons window is up. This site is like being on dialup and worse! I sure hope it gets better!

Like Cici said; a totally new site takes some tweaking. Remember the site was only down for an hour and a half! Some sites revamp and it takes them DAYS to come back up. Lets give the techies some time to get everything running smoothly. I'm sure within the week everything will be humming along nicely!
