Thanks for the compliment! The tech team worked REALLY hard to get everything back to speed.

Everyone should be seeing an easier on the eyes font, and not having page load issues. Avatars should also be visible.

AS far as 'Skins' for the board ( color schemes) we are still working on that, and have a few bugs here and there to finish up.

All in all, we are VERY pleased with how quickly we were able to create your new site and hope you will ALL enjoy it for years to come!

Not being able to "log off/out" is one of those bugs.....I am still unable to do it. I can not
find a "log off/out" button anywhere on the site. How is everyone logging off/out?

Slowly, but surely.....

Another problem I've noticed is when looking at the threads and the time of the last post. For example, the 'how often do you have sex thread' shows the last post as 6:59 p.m. and it was 11:23 a.m.

Maybe because it is a poll and it puts the time that someone enters a vote? and many people are voting but not posting (including me)??? I don't know.

I've learned over the years to just give the technicians a little time and they'll get things fixed up. Thanks MC!

I still don't see a lot of difference from the old boards except what is at the very top???

Boards are looking much better. I'm still having problems with the pages stalling some, but I am so glad the font got enlarged. Thanks.

Esthetics are good; load time still awful even at 100MBps. Can someone please work on it a little more?

For those of you experiencing slow load times, I noticed a large improvement when I switched to Firefox instead of IE.

Talking

I like the new font - snazzy

I'm one of the "page stallers" though. I'm using IE and the page will load the header then kind of "hiccup" before loading the rest of the page.

Otherwise, nice job

I use Firefox also - maybe it's IE that is the problem with slowness?

Very slow loading times!! I'm using IE with no plans to switch over to firefox! I hope they can work on the load times to make it faster! Besides that, the site is working very well.

The text size is tiny oh my, tiny is too big a word.
I reset my own computer view to largest to read thses posts.
But when typing this reply the typing is miniscule again as I type in the reply box.
looks like a font size of about 8
There are drop down windows in the reply boxes that say I can change font type and size.. but those drop downs size choices don't seem to work (yet)

To load this thread.. I clicked and had enough time to go in the other room, get a glass of water, bring it back and the thread had not yet finished opening enough to allow me control of my cursor.

I have DSL and no site has loaded this slowly since my early slow days of old dial up.
I sure hope they tweak that problem.
It is only happening on this site since the changes.
all other sites are coming in at normal speed for my DSL.

It does look better, though the sizing is funny. Is something other than the bulletin board software to blame? It has an almost double-spaced look, like everything had to be seriously enlarged to get a readable text size.

This might be a temporary work-around, but it isn't a solution. IE support and performance is imperative.
