Do you like heights?

Would you walk out on this?
No, not in this lifetime for me. My DH would probably do it though.

I'm terrified of heights. There is NO way I'd EVER step foot on that thing. Heck, I can't even look out the window on an airplane or I'm puking. Just watching people on TV sky dive and stuff like that gives me sweaty palms.

I'd do it, but I've always had an interest in height related activities like skydiving, hot air balloons, etc. I probably wouldn't be able to get my husband within 20 feet of it. Funny, but I've known a lot of tall men like him who are afraid of heights.

NO way!

I've been in the St Louis Arch........right after being in an elevator at the hotel we were staying at that slipped down to the bottom! I can't remember what floor we were on but it was at LEAST the 11th or 12th. We were a few feet below the floor so we had to climb up out of the opening to get out. Found out later it wasn't unusual for that to happen.

I'm terrified of heights!!! Usually anything above about 10 floors and I freak out. Don't think I would be interested in a glass walkway 4,000 feet above land!!! Plus you have to pay to go on it. It would be a waste of my money!!!

Not a chance in he((. Especially after looking at the second photo down and seeing where the bracing is
If they had bracing that was under the very end of the platform on both sides that was angled into the side of the rocks
(something like a window a/c is braced on the outside)
then maybe I might consider it.
But definitely not as it is now.

No thank you,
When we were there over 20 years ago, I couldn't bring myself to get close to edge to look down. My family took pictures for me to look at.
I don't do heights above a step ladder.
I hope they do well making money, but it isn't going to be from me.

No, I don't think I could.
If it were free, I MIGHT try it, but I don't think I'd get too far.

I could feel the start of a panic attack when I read the title to this thread.

Looking at the pictures put me over the edge. No pun intended.

I am not afraid of heights but there is no way I would ever step out onto that- perhaps some hidden fears?

I actually find the skywalk so disrupting of the natural beauty- it is such as shame they have spoiled the natural beauty of the spot.

I agree, I think it could have been done a little more tastefully, it does ruin the beauty.

As for the heights, bring them on! I went sykdiving from 11,000 ft,( I think that's how high it was) I could probably handle it. To me, being up on a roof or on a ladder is much more scary than something thousands of feet in the air, all a psyc thing I guess.

I even talked my Mom into going skydiving after I did, and she loved it too, she was in her 50's at the time.

I am a devout coward when it comes to heights. Even a PICTURE make me dizzy & nauseous! On the other hand, my dd has gone sky diving and would do it every day if she could afford it! Go figure.
Have you ever see the picture of the ironworkers sttting on a beam eating lunch at the top of a building they are working on? I would lose my lunch for sure! Here's the link to see it. (IF your stomach can take it!)

We were talking about this the other day. There is NO WAY on God's green earth that I am getting out on that. Ted said he would go out there and jump up and down the words made me feel anxiety and sickness. I read in the paper the one man did just that.

I don't like heights. I feel very nervous. I don't stand anywhere near the edge of the cliff and I would not climb out on a windowledge.

If there were a fire I might die before jumping, climbing out or exposing myself to heights.

I hope this thing is well built because this would be a tragedy the likes of which it would be very hard to recover from.
