Am I the Only One Who Feels This Way?

I recently opened an account online with Wachovia Bank.

I received a Customer Access Agreement in the mail that they would like me to sign and return to them .

My problem with this is that the print is so small I cannot read it and I refuse to sign anything without reading.

I know Wachovia isn't the only Bank who prints their documents so small. But I just sent them an e-mail telling them I will not sign it until they send me a document that I can read.

I have never opened an account on-line..But my Grandma was the vice-president of First Union now Wachovia (she retired after the switch from First Union to Wachovia) she says that you can go to any branch and they will give you another one thats for people with poor eyesight, even if you don't have poor eyesight or have them read it to you over the phone, or in person word for word. She says NOT to sign anything you can't read or don't understand.(I'm sure you already know that but she made me type it) Good Luck!

Thank you. Your grandma is a wise woman with good advice. There are no local branches near me so I will just wait for them to send me another copy with larger print. I would rather read it myself than have someone read it to me. Sometimes, I have to go over something over and over. The mind is also going along with the eyesight.

Could you possibly take it to a photocopier and have it enlarged?

Not quite as convenient, but just a suggestion while you wait for the more legible copy to arrive.

I could, but I won't. I'm stubborn and I see no reason to spend money to have it enlarged. I just get upset when companies print contracts in such small print.

Guess I'm on a one woman campaign to change this.
