We played this years ago in another neighborhood, but I cannot remember the details! We would get together at the hostess's home, and each player brings a gift up to a certain dollar amount. The winner of each round chooses a gift from the table, and calls the next game.

What I am stuck on, is whether the gifts are wrapped, and remain a mystery during the games, and whether each subsequent winner has the ability to choose a gift from the table OR a gift from a previous winner? I am getting too old for all the fine print!

Do any of you do this in your community? Can you help me figure out the rules so I can get this together?

This sounds like fun. I have never done this but I think the gifts should be wrapped and once you chose it you get to keep it.

I Use to do this sometime ago and what we did was the prizes were number to the game played.

(example) 5 prizes = 5 games

5 Wrapped Prizes and 5 Bingo Games. 1st prizes = 1 game, 2nd prize = 2 game till all 5 games and prizes were played.

When the prize is wrapped it more interesting, esp if the first one is the best gift.

I think you should do it however you want, I am sure there are no hard and fast rules. I don't like the thing where you can take someone elses' gift though, I have done that at Secret Santa things. But I would wrap them,makes it more fun.
