I understand how to get music on it, but after all that is done can you find a particular song, or are they always just mixed up? Thanks.

they are always just shuffled (hence the name ) You can see the songs in order on your computer under Itunes, but you can't select them in any particular order on your actual ipod shuffle. You can skip songs or go backwards to find them just hit the arrow button on your shuffle.

There is a non-shuffle mode where the songs go in the order instead of shuffling. It is on the on/off switch on mine.

Spend the extra money and get a "real" iPod. The Shuffle has been a bomb to Apple.

ilovezingers... what is wrong with the Shuffle? I love mine. Cost $30. It holds 15 cd's. Great sound... Easy to use. No screen but that's not a biggie to me since I only loaded songs that I like and it is easy to skip ahead. I guess I don't know what the 'bomb' is. LOL. Sorry for my blonde moment!!! I'm always a step behind on the trends.
