Hi CyndyN Please give the books to your local Schools or a children's hospital or any place that deals with Children. I say this because mopst of them have very limited budgets for such items. It would be more apprecaited than someone having to buy them from the SA Or Goodwill store. Also see if the Hospital will allow you to give the stuff Animals to the Childrens ward also. If not, You might could drop them off at the local Fire or Police department , Police Officers usually carry them to hand to Children thats been in car wrecks or fires ect. I just hate to see good useful items given to places that will RESELL them when there's places that would gladly take them and GIVE them away to Children in need. (KWIM ). If it's not possible to do this, you can drop them off at any SA or Goodwill, even your local charity. HTH's

Perhaps your local churches would like the books for their preschool or Moms Day Out programs. I am pretty sure that the Humane Society would take the stuffed animals (or a vet) depending on the eyes and fillings. Good Luck -- I am off for a little Spring Cleaning myself! |

I have donated books to our local library and also to the elementary school library. I think our local red cross takes stuffed animals to give to children for comfort and emergencies.
