Have you ever wondered where they get all the people to do talk shows? I have always wondered where they get these people. Do you think that they are for real? I don't know.....if you have approx. 12 people per show...5 shows a week.....52 weeks.......hold on while I calculate.....3120 people in one year on one show!!!! Some of these shows have been on for ten to fifteen years or more!!! Would you do anyone of these shows? Do you know someone who has been on these shows?

Well if you are talking anyone that was on Springer or anything similar I would have to evaluate my own life to know such messed up people. lol I think they all get paid very well to make fools of themselves, I hope they really aren't like some of them claim to be.

I can only seem to get in to Dr Phil once in awhile because that seems more real to me and I watched Oprah yesterday for the first time in a long time. It depends on what the shows are about before I strike interest.

I could maybe make up some stuff......How well do they pay! LOL

A lot of people do a lot for their 15 minutes of "fame" ...

I know someone that was asked to be on Springer. The entire story line was not true but had true aspects. The father put his foot down and told the tramp that if she appeared she would be kicked out from the house and would have to follow the welfare rules to survive. The stupid girl listened to her father and did not appear on the show.

I also know someone who was on one of them acutally relatives, they told everyone they were not paid to do it but for the story they had I wuoldnt be suprised if they weren't paid for it all. The whole family was in shock for the horrible story they went on tv & told

Sometimes when I have insomnia at night, I'll watch Springer. Yep, I will. Yikes.

Anyway, you can tell it is made up by the way they come out swinging before they even know the story. It's just what you do on Springer, I guess!

Sometimes the guests will be talking about their trip TOGETHER to come to the show. You have to know that if you are on Springer, there is a truer-than-life story behind it so... I don't think much or any of it is true.

Yes, people on Springer ARE paid to appear. My best friend knew a woman who was on it and the whole senerio was strickly acting out something that was totally unreal.
On the show the woman's so called husband was a total stranger to her. She is an attractive woman and her "real" husband is a handsome man. Her "show husband" was an ugly fat slob.

I know that if anyone is paid to appear on the Maury Povich show, at least not all are paid. A friend of mine went on his show to see if an infant child did, in fact, belong to her dead son. Maury sent them for a DNA test. Since her son was dead, both she and his father were tested as well as the baby and it's mother. It turned out that the child was my friend's blood grandchild.
She was not paid to appear.

Carney Wilson had a show years ago, and I called up after they asked at the end of the show "have you ever....call 1-800 and you could appear on the Carney Wilson show!" well, the scenario fit something that had to do with me, my mom and my sister. So I called up.

They called me back. REALLY wanted us on the show, but the woman told me that me, my sister and mom had to actually fist fight during the show. "Really pump it up, get violent, that is what we want". I told her I could not do that. That I love my sister and mom and could never do that to them. I told her, however, that I would discuss it with my mom and sister, and would get back. They offered us flights out to NY and hotel stay. They said they would do make overs on all of us, and would give my mom some new clothes to wear. I had not seen my sister in years, and the thought of seeing her AND on someone else's dime. was awesome to me! I mean, a trip to NY AND get to be with my sis!!! WOW!
I talked to my mom and she was like..HECK yeah we can do that.. I could not believe I was hearing this from my mother. I was so sickened by it, that I called back the woman and told her no. I guess what I was hoping my mom would say was that our relationship, and the future shame and degradation that could come from doing such a thing on national TV, was worth way more than a trip to NY, or a new wardrobe. My mom obviously has different priorities, I guess. .

We weren't offered any money, per se. I often think what would have been the outcome in our relationship if we really would have gone (My sister and I are now VERY close).
