| What are you all reading?
I need some new book ideas...I am a true bookworm. Stephen King is my favorite author, dont care much for Koontz, (other than the Odd Thomas books), Lately, I have been reading Amy Tan (Chinese culture is fascinating to me), recently finished "the Terror" by Dan Simmons (awesome), and Thirteen Moons (I forgot the author, its the guy that wrote "Cold Mountain").... Any suggestions for when I hit the library tomorrow?? Thanks |

| Books!
I am reading "The Doctors Wife" - picked it up yesterday at Wal-Mart. I can not fall asleep without reading SOMETHING. This book seems to be a mystery-type novel. So far, it's good. I finished Stephen Kings "Lisey's Story" a week or so ago. I liked it. The reviews were mixed on it. But after that man has written so many books, not every single one is going to be a home run. I liked some of his books that others didnt rate so high. I also just finished Janet Evanovichs "Plum Lovin'". It was good. Too short! I love her books so much and am always sad when they end and cant wait for the next. This one I plowed thru within hours. |

Not that you'll want to read this one...but I am reading it for work: Now, Discover Your Strengths by Marcus Buckingham and Donald Clifton. It's about how to maximize people's strengths, rather than focusing on their weaknesses....interesting, huh? LOL |

I haven't read anything really GREAT in a long time. I just read The Secret a couple weeks ago and it didn't blow me away like i hoped. I need some thought provoking, inspiring reads! Any ideas?

Just recently finished A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson. This is a great book if you enjoy reading educational books. He is a great author! I've read everything that he's written and love them all He also wrote A Walk in the Woods, which was a BestSeller! I wish that I had more time to read - I've got a baby instead |

My most recent books are "All Souls" by Michael MacDonald, which was very good; "Nineteen Minutes"by Jodi Piccoult, good, not great; "Baby Love" by Rebecca Walker, okay; "The Birthday Party" by Stanley Alpert, which was very good; "Family Tree" by Barbara Delinsky, pretty good; "The God of Animals" by Aryn Kyle, very, very good; "Missing Mom" by Joyce Carol Oates, which was good. That's all I can think of right now, but I'm starting to see why I'm not getting enough sleep! |

I like a book that makes me think, think about things a different way, question what I already think I understand, that sort of thing. ANd I like anything Stephen King.

I just finished Memory Keepers Daughter, and Smart Women from Judy Blume. I am currently on the new Maeve Binchy, I love her and have read them all. I have in my stack also to read Nineteen Minutes.
