I'm a TP snob and only buy Cottonelle. I have to confess - it's ribbed. LOL

I've tried to buy cheaper stuff, but I really notice a difference and so does DH. I always wait for it to go on sale and then stock up. I've got Cottonelle TP and Viva Paper Towels stacked up on the shelves in our garage. LOL

We just use plain ol' Angel Soft. I tried the Cottonelle once and I didn't like it. For some reason it left little dust bunnies on my privates. LOL Seriously after I used it I had little specks of toliet paper left on me.

I'm with you. I use Kirkland and I have no idea what ribbed means. Maybe that was just the shock joke and the meaning is more quilted or unquilted????

Plain old Scott 1000 sheets - or the Safeway brand equivalent. I hate changing the roll every day!!

They actually have TP with little ridges in them. They aren't smooth. Cottenelle is a good example of ridged TP.

For me its only Charmin Plus with lotion. Hey my bottom thanks me everytime lol.

Keowa thanks for answering......I guess that is just a joke between all of us "grown-up" kids in our family. I remember at 13 giggling when Garth from the movie Waynes World said ribbed for her pleasure!! when my brothers and I grew up and had to do boring things like actually buying T.P. for the families we would see who could come up with the silliest saying for the most boring things. Like "ribbed" t.p.. As I said at the beginning of the post cottonelle makes ones with ripples.....so we call it ribbed for her pleasure t.p.! Hope it clears it up!!

Where I come from, those little dust bunnies are called DINGLEBERRIES. I just buy whatever is the cheapest and pray for the best. With six butts in this house, we go through tp pretty fast....

I've never noticed any difference between ribbed and unribbed, so I get whatever is on sale.
