I do!!! I saw some little mint green ducks yesterday...too cute to eat! I must have gone on an Easter clearance buying spree a few years back when Target carried alot of Peep merchandise...I have tons of these soft Peep baskets with my Easter decorations...They seem to be multiplying! ~Lisa

me too-only like them when they're stale...and NO mint ones-I'm a peep purist...

Stale ones for me too. I like to put them out opened and then I go back to them a few days later. I thought I was the only weirdo that liked stale ones.

I like them fresh, also good frozen ( faster then stale) I have been know to eat then stale also.
I am a peepable person :lol:

My whole family likes them but me. I seem to be orally fixaited on the grittyness of them. I can get over it. I know they are good though my kids make me buy and store them for the summer.

I think I remember one poster saying that she zaps them in the microwave for a few seconds.....I will have to try that this year with DH and the kiddies!!

I don't recall ever having a peep in my life. Now I feel like I am missing something. Guess I will have to go get some next time I am out.

Raising my hand for microwaving peeps!

I put them on a graham cracker, zap for 15 seconds (WATCH it while you microwave! they get HUGE!!!) and then sprinkle a few chocolate chips on top with another graham cracker on top.

Yum, Peep S'more! It is the only way that I will eat them but think that it sounds good in hot cocoa as well.

Love them...but only stale here too!! Can't eat them fresh!! The longer they sit on the counter, the better they taste!

I think I got too many of them as a kid, I might eat one or two when the kids get them but that's about it...

Used to put big and small marshmallows together in the shape of a person and then microwave them, reminded us of Ghostbusters!

They have to be stale.


That reminds me of another candy I like stale.
What do they call those candy bunnies and chicks that taste those old orange circus peanuts?
I haven't had them for long time.

I grew up with them. My mom lives about a mile or so from where they make them.

I am VERY upset! I went to the frige last
night, to find my two sleeves of stale-ing Peeps and they were GONE! Darn kids found my stash! I hate having nosy teens in the house. LOL I guess you pass your weird likes/dislikes on to your kids....eh?

Cant stand them.......my mom always buys them for my kids who hate them too! My ex hubby would give the kids firecrackers and peeps.......poor little bunny with a firecracker stuck up it's butt......then BANG!!!! flying fluff!

OMG, I almost laughed my guts out...lol, good thing I wasn't drinking anything!

Not a Peep fan, I bite ones head off every few years to remind myself why I don't like them though!( I like the crunchy sugar but I don't like marshmallows in general) DH and DS aren't into them either which is weird because DS begs for marshmallows every time we go shopping!

but dh made me promise when I become a US citizen ,i have to try them,and drink Root beer and eat a penaut putter jelly sandwich,hershey ,hot dog in a bun(with mustard,ketchup and relish) and put mayo on my sandwich.....

well,I am the one cooking,so he has been eating "french food" from day one.
leeks,rabbit(only once ),quiche,chocolate mousse made out of tobbleronne.foie gras,crepes(I receives my loot once a year ,when my family comes over)...what he likes best: wine....

my dd (13) wants to try snails and frogs(I never ate that )

Just curious...when you all say you like them "stale", how stale are we talking about? I have a terrible confession to make...I found a stash of Peeps in the kitchen cabinet...all the way in the back...I must have bought them at Target clearance last year...Would these be edible? DH thinks it's gross to even consider it...but then again, he hates even "fresh" Peeps! LOL... I think I'm going to chuck them, but I'm just wondering... ~Lisa

I'd say as long as no critters got to them they'll probably be fine. Eat one.......see if you croak

I used to LOVE Peeps - the pink bunnys were my favorites, but I haven't had them in a few years. However, I ate one tonight (a yellow chick -- I made cupcakes, frosted with green icing and a Peep on top for snacks at our neighborhood Easter egg hunt tomorrow), since we had leftovers and all I have to say is 'yuck'. Not sure whyI liked them so much, but now I can certainly live without them. They are cute to look at, however and my 6 year old DS loves them, so we'll still have them at my house.
