class of '91, here. I went back only twice in 16 years for a couple of functions. Definitely would not want to do it over again. I do, however, enjoy walking the halls and noticing the changes. btw, can someone help me? I've been around here for years and I need to get my rep power up. |

Class of 83' I dont miss it at all. I did not like school. Sometimes I stiill have bad dreams that I missed the bus again, forgot to do my homework and was getting left back! (although that never happened, It s just a wierd recurrent dream) and I ve been out of there for 24 years, man did that go fast, there is no way I feel this old! |

I graduated in 1989, and I kind of miss it at times. I don't think about it much though, but that's partially because I don't live there anymore. Kind of out of sight, out of mind sort of thing.

| Me too But mine don't go to the same school as me, this school is much newer and I moved a lot, from the military. Seems like most people I knew in school are teachers now! I do keep in touch with people I was friends with in school.

class of 83. Highschool was totally fun. I went to a really small school (14 people in my graduating class...and probably less the 500 in Kindergarten-12th grade). I'd go back and do it all over again in a second, and wish I could go back knowing what I know now. I would definitely make some majorly different life choices.

Even though there are parts of high school I miss, I'd only want to go back if I could be the person who I am NOW! The old me was trying too hard to be the person I thought everyone was looking for - I was a square peg trying to stick myself into a round mould. I've heard this from others, too - we spent so much of our time trying to like the 'right' music, and use the 'right' expressions. Isn't it crazy how many of us at that time were too self-conscious to be our true selves? All of that said, I'd love to see my old friends, and be in band again! |

Class of '69. My highschool was in constant turmoil because of race issues (riots), new construction, half day classes and my family had moved out of district in my junior year so I had to worry about how to get back and forth every day. There was no bussing then. So, that being said, NO I don't miss the experience or any of the kids I went with.

Class of 1993 and I won't even go to our reunions. I hated it. I came from a fairly small town with only 155 in my graduating class. Most of the people in my class were so fake it made me sick. They were alaways pretending to be something they weren't. We were a football town too and the world revolved around our football team. They could do no wrong if you know what I mean. I definitely wouldn't go back.

Class of '91 - I went to so many different schools. If I had to go back to the school that I graduated from (here in Florida), I'd rather not. I hated it there. I actually still live in the same town and refused to buy a home that was close to that school because there is no way in the world I would send my kids to that school. The schools in Florida seemed to be so far behind compared to the schools I went to in Colorado. I was using the same text books as a Senior in Florida that I had used as a Sophomore in Colorado. I'm no genius, but I feel like I could have gotten up and taught some of the classes better than my teachers. I only went there my Senior year and didn't go to my 10 year reunion and have no interest in attending my 20 year reunion either. If I could go back to the school that I went to for 7th - 9th grades, I would in a heartbeat. I would love to go back and see the school, see how everyone turned out and what they are doing now. I lived in a small town in Colorado and the school went from 7th to 12th grade (although I don't think it does anymore). We moved there when I was in the 5th grade and moved away at the end of my 9th grade year of school. That's the longest I ever lived in the same school district - and my parents weren't even in the military. LOL |

20 year reunion this year....assuming they have one. I will likely go, if they don't pull the same stupidity as for the 10th ( it was Thanksgiving weekend). Not everyone runs home to mommy for every holiday. I am still annoyed about that one,as you can probably tell....lol ( they announced it on very short notice too and I had 20 people coming for stinkin turkey! ). We graduated in JUNE people! I haven't heard anything about a 20th yet even though I annoy all my oldest and dearest friends every time I talk to them with questions about it. DH's class is all set up with dates/activities,etc already.... I'm sure if my class doesn't do it in December it will be the same weekend as DH's just to annoy me.....lol I am looking forward to seeing a few people other than those I have kept up with but other then that, it's just an excuse for a vacation home I guess. |

Class of 85. I loved High School! My friends were awesome and I was a social butterfly that fit into every group in our school. What I miss the most was feeling as if I was going to conquer the world, and that I actually had the opportunity to do so, if I wanted! The youth have no clue what they have, until they get older! "Ve git too soon oldt und too late schmart." |

Same here. For our 10th year reunion, they had it on New Year's Eve. Um ,hello!!!! Then, for our 20, they had it in February. February in the NorthEast. Um, not gonna go,nope. I did get a book from the reunion, that they gave out. You could send in a picture of yourself/family, and it got published in there, along with addresses, etc. Also, saw pictures from the reunion. Reminded me of highschool all over again....you know, the girls with the cleavage hanging out all over the place and still trying to be "cutesy". This one girl, a cheerleader, had an obvious boob job, and felt compelled to wear something so there was NO DOUBT about it. Sorry, off on a tangent here, but, no desire to go back to High School. I was "me" in High School and got along with everyone. I wasn't phoney, either, if I didn't like you, I didn't pretend like I did. I'm the same today

Class of 85 I liked high school, but really do not miss it, except for the Drama club and our musicals Went to my 20 Year reunion and had BLAST. All that high school crap was done and everyone talked to everyone and we had a great time.

Class of '92 I liked high school but I wouldn't go back. I don't go to reunions either. I didn't have a lot of friends in my class. They were older or younger. Plus, our last reunion was like $400 to get in plus I would have to pay airfare, hotel, food....ah, I don't want to see anyone THAT badly. That's what myspace is for

class of '87 here-ok, who else had big hair? I enjoyed the social aspects of high school so would like to go back for that for a day or two to just hang out w/ friends at lunch, clubs and activities afterschool, riding the bus, etc. I wouldn't want to go back for all the work/homework/and sitting on my butt for 8hrs. a day. I did go to my 10yr. reunion and had a blast. Our 20th is in August, and am definitely planning on going. Luckily it will be right down the street from my house. |

Class of 1984...I don't miss it! I've been to 5, 15 and 20 year reunions. Most of my classmates live in the same town or close to it and they haven't changed at all. I live 2 hours away (close enough!) My high school friend is now the elementary principal...that's scary!

Class of 79, it was a nightmare for me. I was so ready for school to be over way before I was a senior. I even move out on my own the March before I graduated. I miss a few friends from back then and have a few fond memories of some of he teachers, but that is about it.

1995 here.. I don't miss it.. my nieces go to the school now. I had a rough time in high school with my dad being so ill.. When I walk into that school I still want to tell off our vice principal just as I wanted to in high school

Class of 1981. High school was a miserable time in my life. I don't even like to think about it. The only thing I miss about high school is my best friend. She died when I was 22. If it meant I could see her again, I'd do the high school thing all over again in spite of everything.

Class of 1981 here also! No, I don't miss it. I didn't like high school at all. Probably because I was so quiet and shy back then. I came out of my shell in college. I wish I was then like I am now. Things would have been so different probably. I know I would have probably enjoyed high school more. When I think back to how mean some of those people were...it makes me not want to see some of them again. I know that's ridiculous because people change and that was years ago. I wasn't popular, but I wasn't unpopular. I just was. I just existed. I was on the colorguard, the bowling team, the school newspaper, and in all of the plays. We just had our 25th reunion back at Thanksgiving time. I didn't go, but I wish I had. It looked like alot of fun. It was interesting to read the book and see what everyone is doing now. I've been in touch with some old friends and it's nice talking to them again. ~Lisa

Class of '85 and I agree with,,,, "HATED IT!" Nothing about the place makes me want to go back. My kids are attending the same school I graduated from and I'm in and out of there more now than when I actually attended and I still Hate It! |

Gosh do I miss it.. That's where I met the love of my life we dated freshmen year until we were sophmores and he went into the military and I couldn't live that life style so we split up. What a mistake...I did really love him and always will. I have seen him a few times since and we both are married but still feel breaking up was a huge mistake. BOOHOO for me I know get over it. Class of '93

Class of '82 - don't miss it a bit. It was okay going through it, but unless I could go back with the knowledge I have now, wouldn't do it for anything. I moved away not long after I graduated. I think I MIGHT remember 5 people (2 might be a long shot) and that includes my ex-husband. Haven't been to a reunion, won't go to one, just don't wanna! I think I'm on the "missing" list for my class. If they find me, all they do is beg for money so I'll be happy to stay missing! ![]()

Looks like I am the "oldie" here.....class of 1964! I went to my first reunion in 2004..40 years...I never wanted to go to any of the others, but since I am getting older (meaning I am now a cranky old lady!) I thought it be fun to see the cheerleader who are now fat & the cute guys who are now bald and fat, etc..,....I graduated from a small town in upstate NY....about 150 graduates.... my sister called and said she saw in the newspaper they were looking for me...so, I call and give the guy who is handling the reunion my address.....it was going to be a boat ride on the Hudson River, dinner and dancing.....I live in Texas & I am thinking "A BOAT"...everything in Texas is BIG.....you know like the cruise ships that come into the port of Galveston, NY City, Florida etc....I'm thinking moon light walk around the deck...a nice sit down dinner with soft music and later a nice DJ to dance the night away.....Yeah right! We fly to NY, I get a new dress, get all dolled up (cuz you want to look your best)...we get to the dock and there is a "boat" there and it is about 30 ft. long...to get to it you had to walk down this wood incline onto a rickardy dock and one guy held the boat while another held a small plastic step stool and that is how you got onto this "boat." The dinner was a joke...you walked up to a window and there was a guy there serving food out of foil pans - cold, tastless food....no beverage with your meal, no salad plates, dessert looked like a big pile of crap....I was the only one dressed...everyone else had on capri's....but it's true....the cheerleaders were all fat and the jocks bald and fat....I knew everyone there but I wasn't popular in high school. I saw some of the girls I knew and we all sat together and we had a great time people watching...Would I go to my 50th? Probably, just to show them I was alive and kicking & still looking pretty damn good for a cranky old lady!

I'm from the class of 1984! Everyone always told me that "this is the best time of your life...enjoy it" while I was in school. I didn't believe them. Now....well, I do agree to a certain degree. All in all, school was just OK. But...life was wonderful. My parents bought me a car--it wasn't the best car by far, a '74 sporty Nova (my friends called it the "Black Stallion") but it broke down waaaaaay too often. I worked a part-time job after school and could pretty much blow all the money. I paid for most of the gas but my parents paid for car repairs (MANY of those) and the insurance. Looking back--life was so simple. Now I have a husband, kids, bills, worries........yadda yadda yadda. You know?! Would I go back?--NO WAY. Do I wish life could be as simple?---OH YEAH!
