Thank- You all so much for the Thoughts and Prayers. Easter was Okay,Me and DH along with the kids went to my oldest DD home to have hot dogs and a small Easter egg hunt with the grandson's. It was pretty odd doing that, DD didn't do too well Sunday, She was pretty grumpy and snappy with everyone. I brushed it off as much as I could, But finally had to put her in her place as she was really being hateful to all of us. She calmed down and the rest of the day went good.

My Stepfather Children are holding his funeral in Selma and we are having a wake here for us. My Mother is Okay with this. It was always my Fathers wishes to be laid next to his Mother and I'm over joyed his Children are carrying out his wishes.

Wed's Will be very hard on us all, I know my Mother will be very torn to say her Goodbyes, esp after spending nearly 39 years with him. I talked to her tonight, All she kept saying was how he died now more than 3 feet from her and she didn't know it... I told her what a BLESSING it had to be go go with out any pain or a hospital stay, or a Doctor saying *we are sorry there's nothing more we can do, it's only a matter of time now *I know thats the way I want to exit this world personally. I also told her he had 85 years much longer than most get and of those 85 years he spent 38 with her what a JOY to have shared that many years with your love.

She came around after this and I'm so glad.. She had REFUSED to speak to anyone since Saturday even me. (THAT HURT SO MUCH !!)

I did all the calling of family tonight and I'm Beat and my EARS are about to fall off..

sadly we are not able to attend the funeral in Selma, My mother doesn't have a car that will make it and I dont have one big enough to hold us all. Plus my Mother's health wouldn't allow the 4 + hr trip one way.
I think she's good with this even tho she will not be there.

I have to go shopping in the morning for a outfit for me and the boy's, also have to send Flowers to the wake. Going to be another long day for us all with the final preparation on this.

Just wanted to drop in for a few mins to say Thank- You all so much for the thoughts and prayers, they meant the world to us..
