OK, I know it's a dumb question, but I haven't been to the post office in ages. I have tons of .39 stamps in my desk and I have to mail a letter tomorrow. I thought I read somewhere that there was a rate increase soon. Is it effective now or sometime soon? Thanks

The "forever" stamp goes on sale on Thurs. They will be .41 until the next price change....whenever.

I think the guy at the post office said it would be in June, thats when he thought.
You can still use them, just buy some two cent stamps!

To answer your question, yes a stamp is still $.39.

The price of stamps goes up on May 14th. I was in the post office this week and asked.
