I do not like Rosie HOWEVER, I would never try to stop someone from speaking their mind. B/c that would mean I would not be able to speak mine!! and then my head would probably explode, LOL!

I believe that Rosie adds a lot, though different, perspective to the show. Ratings are definitely up since she came on. You also have to remember that the show is 9 or more years old now, and shows tend to get stale. She is not responsible for the ills of the world, nor even the problems with the show. I support Rosie and all the ladies of The View.

Rosie is nasty. I love Elisabeth. I would NEVER support Rosie. I'd boycott ABC all togehter but I like Grays' Anatomy and Dancing with the Stars!! lol

I rarely watch. What has Rosie done??? I'm so out of the loop with TV. I spend more time on the internet then I do watching TV (obviously!).

What did she do that has people so upset?

Havn't heard anything either here in my cave, what's the story?

I don't care for her, but still can respect her for her opinions and right to have them.

I really don't know why we are supposed to respect someone's opinion when it is presented in a rude, arrogant, condesending and mean way. Sounds too PC to me to have to respect that. We have to have boundaries and she crosses them, hence no respect from me!

What I meant to say was respect her right to have those opinions, not her opinions. I don't watch the show, because I don't like her, that is our choice as viewers. I would not sign a petition to get her off the air though, that's her right to express her opinion and if the ratings weren't good, she wouldn't be there.


My vote is in the remote every time I press those buttons.

I love Rosie. I think its funny that she is on a show where she is suppose to give her view and people think she is horrible because she does. I also read her blog everyday.

i really enjoy watching rosie - i never watched the show until she came on. it's hard for me to find anyone else that likes her, though! i can't believe how much hatred some people have for her.

Carrie, you're right. Howard Stern can be just hideous, and he has no respect for women. I can't stand that he gets any airtime at all.

However, his target audience probably isn't women, anyways. I think the reason people get so mad at Rosie (and I'm not sure what she's done this time) is because her target audience IS women. Women can be a tougher audience - we don't like to hear attacking, condescending talk - but I think on more male-oriented shows, it's less of a big deal. Heck, even Bill O'Rielly is an arrogant, condescending jerk as far as I'm concerned, but men don't seem to take it as personally as us AS A WHOLE.

I am pretty interested in knowing what Rosie has done that has her job on the line, though. I didn't hear about this one!
