Please don't get me wrong on Sanjaya, I do feel bad for him. I also feel bad for him on many levels tho.
If I really thought he had a chance to make a singer I would be very upset that he left tonight, However, He stay for ALL the WRONG reasons.. The voters voted for him because, Some thought he was just so cute, other voted for him due to a NASTY little website and the rest, well I really think they voted for him just to have him come back so others could have something to talk about for a week,

I have watched this from the start only missing it for my Fathers Funeral ( may he rest in peace )Sanjaya performed ONLY a few times to what I would call *good enough to make the next week show*
But, he never performed well enough he should have stayed for this long.

This poor boy was the ASS of many jokes, websites and the news.
I do believe he can make something of himself later on ??.Maybe, But it will probably take many more years to get there. Singing isn't Sanjaya calling right now.

I personally think he would be great modeling clothing/hair., but not singing.

I find it sad that many were voted off due to so many voting for him for all the wrong reasons.
I hope Sanjaya finds his calling and runs away with it.He's young, he has style ( hair style ), He's comfortable with the public ( hey thats a plus on any level ) and he's has a sense of humor.

If from all this *bad* something can come to good, I hope it's that Sanjaya will move on to what he is good at,take this as a lesson and make a name for himself other than the butt of everyone's jokes and hate for a judge....

yes, the whole Sanjaya thing is kind of sad. I'm afriad someday he will look back on it and realize a lot of people were voting for him as a joke. And when Simon complimented him that one time as a joke it looked like he thought Simon was serious. I'm glad he's off now for his own sake! He will be on the tour so he really isn't loosing anything....... Although maybe someday when he's had a long career and made lots of money he will have the last laugh on the people who were voting out of spite! I'd pretty much be happy with any of the rest as the winner but I especially like Jordan and Melinda.

Sanjaya did well on Spanish week. He really has a Stevie Wonder-ish type voice to me. It was just wrong what he did to the Bonnie Raitt (spelling?) song though. I always liked him until this week when he did that song an injustice. He'll be fine. He's young... he'll bounce back!

I don't think that Sanjaya is a bad singer. I just don't think he's in the same
"class" as the remaining Idols. He CAN sing, he's just not as good as the
contestants that are left and alot that have already gone. He was liked by
many young girls but alot of people that voted for him were people that
want to see American Idol taken off the air. They made a joke of him and I
think that's terrible. I am sad for him but glad that he is gone.

He's cute and supposedly very sweet. But, I also think he started to become kind of cocky and a bit rude in the last few weeks. However, my concern is that there were a number of very talented singers who went before their time just to keep Sanjaya there. I don't think that Sanjaya has anything positive that will come of his appearances on this years' season of AI. He WILL be included in the tour of the top 10...that will be a moneymaker for him. And I am positive that we will see him elsewhere also....guessing NOT as a singer though. I would guess as a commentator, perhaps on Disney Channel or Nickelodeon or something like that....maybe even MTV of VHI. I certainly wish him no ill will, but sad the adulation knocked off more deserving contestants....


Now, what DID surprise me was LiKisha being in the the bottom 2. She did NOT do well with country song, but to be in the bottom 2 was a shock to me. But, then, remember Mandisa??????

I was shocked by that too!!! But, I was even more shocked to see Blake in the bottom 3!

I did think it was kinda cute the way Sanjaya (sp) changed the wording to "other than hair" when he sang that song before he left last night. Even Simon had to laugh. lol

I knew it was Sanjaya when Simon was caught grinning from ear to ear and Ryan ask him why he was, he commented I have a premendiction(sp). He already knew.

I don't want to be the spoiler but I did not like Sanjaya's singing at all. There were people there that I thought was way better but b/c of that website, he stayed and they went. Everyone who went up against him went, so I can imagine what LaKisha was thinking last night.


WHICH surprised me that Blake and Lakisha was in the bottom 3. When Ryan put them in groups, I was stunned b/c I just knew that Phil and Chris were the bottom two which meant Jordin was also and I couldn't believe that. It sure threw me for a loop when they said Blake, Lakisha and Sanjaya was the bottom 3. Wow.

Now comes the stuff part, b/c in my opinion all of the remaining are good so now people's favorites are going to start being voted off

The guy who is doing the weekly reviews on VFTW has Phil and Chris on his worst list. I think what you're seeing in this week's voting is a move toward the new worst getting the vote.

I felt badly for him because he was such a joke, but when he started tearing up after he was told he was leaving, I remembered he was just 17....and that's just a kid, you know?

But this is the week they do what they always do - they have the 2 groups, and tell the one person to go to the group they think they belong in. They did it last year to Chris D.

Yeppers they sure did, I personally think its awful to be asked whick group you want to go stand in. I mean these folks have spent ALOT of time getting to know each other. Its the same as to just come right out and say Okay who do you think will get a kick in the butt tonight. ( KWIM )
